Pacers Post Reggie Miller Meme Photo, Troll with Laughing Video After Win vs. Knicks
The Indiana Pacers are relishing in their opportunity to troll the New York Knicks after their stunning 138-135 overtime victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
In the aftermath of Wednesday's dramatic win, the Pacers posted a photo of franchise icon Reggie Miller pointing to acknowledge the moment Tyrese Haliburton recreated his infamous choking gesture after tying the game at the end of regulation.

The Pacers weren't done there, as they also posted a video of Miller's sly laughter with Haliburton's game-tying shot at the end of regulation.
One of the many subplots of this series was Miller, who is an NBA television analyst for TNT, on the call for a renewal of the Pacers-Knicks rivalry. He was one of the main stars for their many playoff matchups in the 1990s.
Miller originally used the choking gesture in Game 5 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. He directed it at noted Knicks fan Spike Lee, with whom he had been trash-talking throughout the game.
The Pacers overcame an 11-point deficit to start the fourth quarter thanks to Miller scoring 25 of his 39 points in the final period.
Wednesday night was an eerily familiar feeling for Knicks fans who remember Miller ripping their heart out. Their team held a 116-102 lead with just over three minutes remaining in regulation.
Indiana closed the fourth quarter on a 23-9 run, capped off by Haliburton's shot to force overtime. The Pacers finished off the comeback in overtime.
Even though Haliburton had the biggest shot of the game, Aaron Nesmith was a closer approximation of what Miller did 31 years ago. He scored 20 points on 6-of-7 three-point shooting in just under nine minutes on the floor in the fourth quarter.
Regardless, Knicks fans are probably having some dark flashbacks right now after their collapse in Game 1. If they want a reason to be encouraged, New York did beat Indiana in the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals in seven games.
