
Tiger Woods' Daughter Sam Helps Track Team Win State Title, Won Soccer Title in March
The Woods family keeps adding to its legacy of championships.
Sam Woods, the 17-year-old daughter of golf legend Tiger Woods, capped her high school athletic career by helping The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens win the Class 1A state championship.
Woods, a senior, contributed 13 points to the school’s total, placing 18th in the 100-meter hurdles, 17th in the 400-meter hurdles, and playing a key role in two relay events. She ran the third leg in the 4x800-meter relay, where her team took second with a time of 9:32.40, and the third leg in the 4x400-meter relay, where the team placed fourth in 4:01.83.

A multi-sport athlete, Woods is no stranger to state titles. Earlier in the year, she helped lead The Benjamin School’s girls varsity soccer team to a Florida 2A FHSAA State Championship, anchoring a 1-0 shutout as a standout defender.
Sam Woods will attend Stanford University next year, following in her father Tiger Woods’ footsteps, where she plans to pursue a degree in psychology and biology.
