Will Sunday's WWE WrestleMania 2025 Matches Be Able to Top Saturday's Card?
WrestleMania Saturday is in the rear view mirror and the eyes of the wrestling world have turned toward Sunday's explosive card, headlined by the final appearance from John Cena on the grand stage as he challenges Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
As is the case since WWE moved to the two-night format, though, the question is whether or not Sunday's card will live up to the bar set by its predecessor.
Ahead of night two of WrestleMania 41, let's take a look.

Can Sunday's Matches Surpass Saturday's?

In short, they better.
For the sake of this WrestleMania's reputation when compared to the first two under Triple H's creative direction, they have to. Saturday's show would be a perfectly acceptable premium live event under any other name but for a WrestleMania show, it felt a bit lacking.
Sure, the two big title matches were good and the main event was an all-timer, but fans demand better than "good" on the grand stage. Luckily, on paper, Sunday always had the superior card.
Ripley vs. Sky vs. Belair kicks things off and should be the best representation of the women's division on either Raw or SmackDown, with three Superstars who are among the best wrestlers in the company.
Fans should not sleep on Priest vs. McIntyre, which has an intense feud behind it and two guys who can brawl with the best of them, or Styles vs. Paul, which has two uber athletes involved, both with track records of delivering in big match situations.
The real question will be whether Cena can hang with Rhodes in the main event. He is older and has not been tested to this extent in a one-on-one match in a long time. We have seen that he has clearly lost a step or two in previous matches with Austin Theory and Solo Sikoa. It will be up to Rhodes to bridge the gap and bring this one home to ensure its quality.
Better matches on paper with some of the top stars of the last year in WWE makes Sunday's show a much more appealing one that Saturday and, if those contests live up to expectations, night two could save the reputation of the 2025 event.
