Oklahoma dominated the championships prior to LSU's 2024 victory, winning five of the past eight competitions. This included back-to-back wins in 2022 and 2023.

The Sooners cruised to Saturday's final, as they took an early lead after the first rotation and never looked back. Jordan Bowers helped lead the way for Oklahoma, as she clinched a No. 1 finish on both the floor exercise and the uneven bars.

Missouri narrowly beat out Florida to secure the second qualifying spot in the first semifinal, as the Tigers will be making their first trip to the national finals. Missouri passed the Gators on the third rotation and held them off with an impressive balance beam performance by Helen Hu.

Hu finished with a score of 9.9875 on the beam, helping send the Tigers to the national finals.

In the second semifinal, LSU's hopes of two straight national titles came to an end. The Tigers were without standout Livvy Dunne, who was unable to participate due to a knee injury.

Instead, Utah clinched a spot among the final four teams for the fifth straight time. McCallum led the way, as the former Olympic silver medalist finished No. 2 in the uneven bars, floor exercise and vault.

Chiles stepped up for UCLA, securing the No. 1 spot on the uneven bars by finishing with a 9.9750 score.

Emma Malabuyo put the finishing touches on the Bruins' semifinal performance, sending them to the national finals with a 9.9750 score of her own on the beam.

The national championship field is now set, with Missouri attempting to win its first national title. UCLA's last victory occurred in 2018, while Utah hasn't earned a national championship since 1995.

All four schools are scheduled to compete for a national title on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
