10 WWE Stars Who Could Finally Have Their WrestleMania Moment in 2025
More so than the matches themselves, the monumental moments are what make WrestleMania such a spectacle every year.
From the first installment 40 years ago to Cody Rhodes ending Roman Reigns' four-year run as undisputed WWE universal champion last April, every 'Mania has had something special to offer, and both nights of WrestleMania 41 this weekend in Las Vegas should be no exception.
Many names will be looking to leave a lasting impression with a standout showing and potentially charge their career trajectory with a win. That includes fresh faces with something to prove and experienced veterans determined to cement their legacy.
Everyone on the roster strives to have their WrestleMania moment one day, even if it comes later for some than others.
Although there isn't a definitive definition for what makes a 'Mania moment, it typically involves capturing or retaining a title, taking part in a prominent match on the card, defeating an archrival or simply stealing the show.
Many wrestlers are set to make their WrestleMania debut this year and have the chance to make their mark on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Ahead of the weekend's star-studded event, let's look at 10 WWE Superstars who could finally achieve their WrestleMania moment on Saturday or Sunday.
Tiffany Stratton
1 of 10
WWE's decision to call up Tiffany Stratton from NXT to SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania 40 in 2024 spoke volumes about the high hopes officials had for her on the main roster.
Although she didn't factor into plans for the premier pay-per-view, it was evident she would be a part of it in some form or fashion the following year.
Fast-forward 12 months, and Stratton is the WWE women's champion, having taken the title from Nia Jax via an electric Money in the Bank cash-in at the onset of 2025. She was the logical choice as the opponent for Charlotte Flair, who returned from a lengthy injury absence in the women's Royal Rumble match on February 1 and won the whole thing.
The two have never gone one-on-one before, but there's little doubt they'll have instant chemistry from the moment the bell rings on WrestleMania 41 on Saturday.
The entire premise of their program is that Flair underestimates Stratton despite the newcomer having proved herself as more than a flash in the pan.
The Center of the Universe has had to overcome adversity from Flair even in their various verbal exchanges on SmackDown, though Stratton has made it clear she has everything to gain from their match and little to lose, aside from the title itself.
Only an elite few can lay claim to having defeated The Queen on The Grandest Stage of Them All, and Stratton may soon join that list.
Bron Breakker
2 of 10Similar to Stratton, Bron Breakker made the move from NXT to SmackDown in the aftermath of his impressive performance at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
However, he was largely directionless until being drafted to Raw months later and wasn't booked to compete at WrestleMania 40.
Breakker will be walking into WrestleMania this year with hardware around his waist: the prestigious Intercontinental Championship. He first clinched the title by beating Sami Zayn at SummerSlam and later regained the gold from Jey Uso in October.
The second-generation star has had an extremely strong run in the last six months with wins over Ludwig Kaiser, Sheamus and Finn Balor.
At 'Mania, he'll have his work cut out for him when he defends against Balor, Penta and Dominik Mysterio in a Fatal 4-Way match.
Although Breakker is bound for bigger and better things in WWE and could benefit from dropping the title at this stage of his rise, shocking the world by retaining it would amount to his first 'Mania moment, with many more guaranteed for the future.
El Grande Americano (Chad Gable)
3 of 10
Chad Gable has competed in his fair share of WrestleMania matches in the past, but never anything on the level of his upcoming clash with Rey Mysterio on Saturday.
Gable would have been the perfect person to dethrone the then-undefeated Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at last year's installment following their stellar series of matches in late 2023.
WWE instead opted to put Sami Zayn in that spot, relegating Gable to a post-WrestleMania feud with the titleholder over the belt that he ultimately lost.
While it took Gable adopting a masked alter ego and dubbing himself "El Grande Americano" to land a 'Mania match this year, the bout itself should be nothing short of excellent considering the talent involved.
This is the first time Gable has had the singles spotlight at The Show of Shows, and it's imperative he makes the most of the opportunity by being allowed to have the great match both men are capable of and going over in the end.
Mysterio has won enough 'Mania matches over the course of his illustrious career that he can easily afford to lose this one, giving Gable his first true memorable moment at the premier premium live event in the process.
Lyra Valkyria
4 of 10
Lyra Valkyra being selected by Raw in the 2024 WWE draft came as a genuine surprise to those who expected her to stick around in NXT a little longer after losing the NXT Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez just weeks earlier.
Despite the abrupt nature of her call-up, The Valkyrie made an immediate impact on the red brand with a string of wins in the Queen of the Ring tournament and advancing all the way to the finals, where she narrowly fell short to Nia Jax.
She proceeded to take a backseat for several months until the introduction of the Women's Intercontinental Championship. She knocked off Dakota Kai to become the inaugural champ and has retained the title against a number of notable names in the months since.
A one-on-one title defense at WrestleMania 41 would have been ideal, but her involvement as part of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match with Bayley, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez is better than being left off entirely.
The bout had a rushed build and was confirmed within the last week, but it's a chance for Valkyria to make a name for herself on the biggest stage she's competed on and possibly walk away a double champion.
Dominik Mysterio
5 of 10Being winless at WrestleMania should be enough of an incentive for Dominik Mysterio to reign supreme in the Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4-Way on Sunday.
If anything, he's been a bit of a background player in the title scene as of late. Bron Breakker and Penta were originally at odds, and Finn Balor shoehorned himself back into the championship conversation after already failing to beat Breakker for the belt.
Mysterio and Balor have been teasing tension for months and that must come to a head at Allegiant Stadium, specifically with Dirty Dom stealing the belt in nefarious fashion before the Irishman can.
There isn't an obvious direction for Mysterio after 'Mania, so taking the title can serve as the catalyst for him replacing Balor as the new leader of The Judgment Day and ensuring gold stays within the group's ranks.
It would also act as a welcome reward for his arduous efforts in the last three years and give him another thing he can stick to his "deadbeat" dad, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
Jacob Fatu
6 of 10
Rumors started swirling regarding Jacob Fatu's putting pen to paper with WWE over WrestleMania 40 weekend.
After proving in MLW and elsewhere on the independent scene for years that he belonged in the big leagues, it was a long-overdue development.
As a result, Fatu just missed the 'Mania window last year, but that didn't stop him from having one of WWE's hottest debuts in recent years when he crashed onto the SmackDown scene last June as the newest member of The Bloodline.
His singles matches in the last 10 months have been far and few between, but whenever he has competed on his own, he has showed out on every occasion.
Fatu wrapped up his fun feud with Braun Strowman a few weeks ago by beating him in a Last Man Standing bout to become the No. 1 contender to LA Knight's United States Championship at WrestleMania.
Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa seemed to be the destined WrestleMania match based on the latter's shortcomings since losing to Roman Reigns on Raw's Netflix premiere and the former stepping up his absence.
However, Fatu vs. Knight is a worthy attraction as well and also has an unpredictable outcome.
Fatu suffering his first singles loss at the hands of Knight on such a significant stage would hardly hurt his momentum, especially if the idea is for Sikoa to inadvertently cost him the title.
That said, The Samoan Werewolf tasting singles gold for the first time would set him up for an even brighter rest of 2025.
Liv Morgan
7 of 10
Amazingly enough, in the near-decade she has spent on WWE's main roster, Liv Morgan has never had a defining WrestleMania moment. That must change at the upcoming installment after the incredible year she's had for herself.
Morgan returned from injury in the 2024 women's Royal Rumble match and appeared to be primed for a program with then-women's world champion Rhea Ripley.
However, WWE moving ahead with Ripley vs. Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 instead of shifting to Ripley vs. Morgan actually worked out wonderfully in the long run.
Ripley's untimely injury—inflicted by Morgan both in storyline and in real life by accident—forced WWE to book a double turn with the two of them. Their heated rivalry dominated the remainder of 2024, culminating in Mami getting the belt back on Raw's Netflix premiere in early January.
Morgan has remained relevant alongside Raquel Rodriguez in the women's tag team ranks and has had a handful of terrific matches in 2025.
It was only appropriate that she made 'Mania, and although it won't be a marquee match, a successful retention of the tag titles and another above-average outing would be a well-deserved WrestleMania moment for her.
Penta
8 of 10
Fresh off his AEW departure, Penta signed with WWE and captivated the audience on his first appearance on Raw in January.
The company has wisely capitalized on his surging popularity by keeping him in the midcard mix on the red brand and having him rack up wins over some of its finest talent.
As such, it was only academic that he be included in the card for WrestleMania 41. Coming out on top in his feud with Ludwig Kaiser earned him entry into the Intercontinental Championship picture and the Fatal 4-Way for the title at the event.
The beloved luchador is early enough into his WWE tenure that losing this match at 'Mania won't set him back whatsoever. In fact, it would only make his pursuit of the prestigious prize that much more meaningful.
Penta should grace The Grandest Stage of Them All many more times in the years to come, but becoming the new intercontinental champ would be an epic way for him to make his WrestleMania debut.
The reaction from the fans would make him that much more of a star than he already is.
The War Raiders
9 of 10The War Raiders have been a fixture in the WWE tag team division for the last six years, but it wasn't until they ditched their viking helmets in favor of their previous personas at the end of 2024 that they started hitting their stride again.
The dominant duo have reigned as world tag team champions for the last four months but have mostly been a non-factor on Raw since the show's move to Netflix. A match with The New Day always appeared to be the endgame, but neither team has had much momentum this year and their "feud" heading into The Show of Shows has been an afterthought.
If nothing else, the bout ensures War Raiders will be represented at 'Mania for only the second time in their careers, the first being at WrestleMania 39 for a four-team showcase match.
The two teams have long worked exceptionally well together and should deliver a quality contest on Saturday if afforded the time.
The New Day securing the titles is the most likely scenario, but the Raiders could still have their WrestleMania moment if they beat the odds and emerge victorious.
Iyo Sky
10 of 10
For as badly built as the Women's World Championship on the Road to WrestleMania 41 has been, Iyo Sky being in a prominent match on the card for the second straight year is the correct use of one of WWE's best performers.
Following her loss of the WWE Women's Championship last year, The Genius of the Sky dropped back down the card but consistently excelled in every situation she found herself in.
She also remains undefeated against Rhea Ripley one-on-one after unseating her for the women's world title on the March 3 edition of Raw.
Both Bianca Belair and Ripley have had their hands raised in triumph at WrestleMania on multiple occasions, whereas Sky has yet to experience that herself. The EST of WWE and Mami are so occupied with each other that the Japanese star eking out a win isn't totally out of the question.
She's been overlooked time and time again this year and desperately needs to remind her opposition exactly why she's The Genius of the Sky.
A decisive victory this weekend would accomplish that, while simultaneously giving her the elusive WrestleMania moment that would further bolster her stock as champion.
