WWE NXT Results, Winners, Live Grades, and Highlights Before Stand & Deliver 2025
Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of WWE NXT on April 15.
The main roster is preparing for WrestleMania 41 this weekend, but the NXT crew is also preparing for its own big show, Stand & Deliver.
This week's episode was the go-home show before Saturday's special, so all of the big storylines that are set to be featured at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas were addressed.
While setting up those showdowns was a big focus, we also got plenty of action Tuesday night. Let's take a look at everything that happened on this week's NXT.
Wes Lee vs. Ethan Page vs. Eddy Thorpe vs. Lexis King
1 of 5We opened with Wes Lee, Lexis King, Eddy Thorpe and Ethan Page already in the ring for a Fatal 4-Way to see who would face Ricky Saints for the North American title at Stand & Deliver.
Saints joined the commentary team to watch as all four men tried to earn a shot at gold. They worked a fast pace early on as the quartet attempted to steal the win right away with no success.
Saints was ejected from ringside after Page threw Thorpe into him and caused him to blow up. After a break, all four were involved in a submission spot that almost saw King tap out to three different people at the same time.
This was an enjoyable match with a lot of quick action. All four men looked like they could win at any moment, but Page ultimately earned the title shot by pinning King.
Result: Page won to earn a shot at the North American Championship
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
—The way King went crashing over the top rope onto the steps looked painful.
—The punches Lee did to Page and Thorpe before the Tower of Doom spot were some of the weakest we have seen in a WWE ring. What was that?
—Thorpe had a couple of awkward moments. The main one was how hard it looked for him to go over the top rope when he was supposed to.
Tatum Paxley vs. Lola Vice
2 of 5
A spot in the women's North American Championship ladder match was up for grabs when Tatum Paxley took on Lola Vice.
Vice wrestled Paxley to the floor as the match got started. Gigi Dolin and the crowd were in Paxley's corner, but the kickboxer kept finding ways to ground her.
Vice tried to chase her opponent under the ring only to end up having her shoulder tanked into the apron. This allowed Paxley to take control as the show cut to a break.
The second half of the contest had more intensity than the first, but there was something missing from this bout. It was for a spot in a title match but didn't feel like it had the level or urgency it needed.
Vice got the win to earn her spot at Stand & Deliver.
Result: Vice defeated Paxley
Grade: C+
Notable Moments and Observations
—Saints came out and speared Page during his post-match promo.
—Paxley mimicking Vice's movements before the bell was funny.
—Paxley's finisher is too complicated to be executed well every time.
Tag Team Gauntlet
3 of 5
A five-team Gauntlet match took place this week to determine who would face Fraxiom for the NXT tag titles this weekend. Hank and Tank started off against Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont.
Here is the order of entry and elimination:
—Hank and Tank eliminated Igwe and Dupont
—Hank and Tank eliminated Niko Vance and Brooks Jensen
—Hank and Tank eliminated Tavion Heights and Myles Borne
—Hank and Tank eliminated Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura
This is the third tag team Gauntlet we have seen in WWE is as many weeks, so it was starting to feel a little repetitive by the time this bout rolled around.
That being said, Hank and Tank brought great energy to the ring, and a few of the other teams helped make them look like a well-oiled machine. Heights and Borne gave them an especially hard-hitting fight.
Result: Hank and Tank won the Gauntlet
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
—Roxanne Perez is looking for a tag team partner after a backstage interaction with NXT general manager Ava.
—It made no sense for Jensen to hold Vance back when they got to the ring since he was starting for their team.
—The way Vance and Jensen lost made them look like idiots. Vance took his eye off his opponent and paid the price.
—Heights has good explosive power and speed. He has a lot of untapped potential and would be a good addition to Chad Gable's stable.
Karmen Petrovic vs. Thea Hail
4 of 5
The Family was in the parking lot looking for a fight with DarkState, but Tony D'Angelo was nowhere to be seen. A huge brawl broke out that brought them all back into the building as they fought.
Tony D eventually showed up with a crowbar and started cleaning house. Once DarkState ran away, he ripped into Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo for doing things without consulting him.
Up next was another NA ladder match qualifier with Karmen Petrovic taking on Thea Hail. The former Chase U standout came running to the ring in her first appearance since The Great American Bash.
Hail was aggressive right out of the gate and scored the win in about five minutes with a submission. The outcome wasn't surprising, but how we got there was.
Hail showing more focused intensity is exactly what she needs to do for her character to advance.
Result: Hail defeated Petrovic
Grade: C+
Notable Moments and Observations
—The parking-lot fight was clearly pre-taped and edited together, which helped in some ways but made it feel less spontaneous.
—Cora Jade will be Roxanne's tag partner at Stand & Deliver.
—Hail got a nice pop when she appeared backstage.
The Final Word
5 of 5
The final segment on this week's show was Trick Williams, Oba Femi and Je'Von Williams having one last confrontation before their NXT title match on Saturday.
Williams and Femi ended up sending Evans out of the ring so they could fight.
The Young OG came back in with a springboard attack that took out both men. He picked up the title and posed with it to end the show.
Tuesday's NXT put the final pieces in place before Stand & Deliver this weekend, but it was a bit lackluster in the ring.
The Fatal 4-Way match was the best thing on the show, but that was a low bar to clear this week. Nothing we saw was bad, but nothing stood out as exceptional, either.
Waiting until the last show to set up some of the matches for the PLE was an odd choice considering how long WWE has had most of the WrestleMania card set up, but doing it this way made it so a lot of the feuds didn't have time to get stale.
Stand & Deliver has some potential bangers on the card, so let's hope it lives up to its potential and doesn't get outshined by everything happening at The Show of Shows.
