Phil Mickelson joined Straka and Koepka in hitting over par on the final hole. The three-time Masters champion ran into trouble with double bogey on No. 15, then bogeyed again on the 16th and 18th holes to miss out on the cut.

After hitting over par on five holes in Round 1, Tony Finau recorded back-to-back birdies on Nos. 10 and 11 to solidify his spot below the cut on Friday.
Two-time Masters runner-up Justin Rose topped the leaderboard at 8-under through two rounds. Bryson DeChambeau sat just behind at 7-under, while Rory McIlroy and Corey Connors were 6 under par heading into the weekend.
