March Madness officially ended on Monday with Florida defeating Houston to win the NCAA Men's basketball tournament. However, college sports fans still have something to look forward to, as the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament is down to its Frozen Four.
Following some thrilling regional action, the field is down to the University of Denver, Boston University, Western Michigan and Penn State.
Denver, which is the reigning tournament champion, defeated Boston College, last year's runner-up, 3-1 in its regional final. Penn State advanced to the Frozen Four with a 3-2 overtime victory over UConn. Western Michigan knocked off Umass in a 2-1 regional final, while Boston U. notched a 3-2 overtime win over Cornell.

Odds
As of Wednesday evening, Denver stood as a +200 (bet $100 to win $200) favorite to win the tournament, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Western Michigan and Boston College both held +280 odds, while Penn State was more of a long shot at +380.
For Thursday's games, Denver and Boston University are both 1.5-goal favorites. The over/under for the Denver-Western Michigan Game sits at 5.5 goals, while the over/under for Penn State and Boston University is 6.5 goals.
Denver is +1000 to win via shutout, while Western Michigan and Boston University are both +1100. Penn State is +1400 to win with a clean sheet.
Semifinal Predictions
Both of Thursday's games will be battles between relative newcomers and programs that have been here before. Boston University has reached the Frozen Four for the third consecutive year, while Denver has won the tournament 10 times and in two of the past three years.
This doesn't mean, however, that either game will be a lopsided affair. Western Michigan entered the tournament as a regional top seed and defeated Denver 4-3 in double overtime in the NCHC championship last month. Penn State has gone 14-3-3 in its last 20 games.
While an upset (or two) is certainly possible, the prediction here is that both favorites make their way to the title game. Experience matters at this stage, and both Boston U. and Denver have plenty of it.
Western Michigan's recent experience against Denver could make the night's opener the most competitive. Goalie—and L.A. Kings prospect—Hampton Slukynsky should give the Broncos a legitimate chance. He stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Fargo Regional, which allowed Western Michigan to wear down opponents with its depth.
However, even Slukynsky could struggle with Denver's scoring duo of Jack Devine and Aidan Thompson.
Don't be surprised if another evenly-matched game does to overtime, with Denver's big-stage seasoning giving the Pioneers an edge.
Boston University might make things look a little easier in the nightcap, though fans shouldn't expect a blowout. Coach Jay Pandolfo knows how to get results deep in the postseason, and the Terriers' fast-paced offense is difficult to match.
Washington Capitals prospect Cole Hutson is a particularly dynamic player—he became the first defenseman to lead the World Juniors tournament in scoring in January—who could legitimately take over the game.
Penn State cannot be completely dismissed, of course. The Nittany Lions have their own fast-paced offensive attack led by Charlie Cerrato, Matt DiMarsico and JJ Wiebusch. However, they won't enjoy the home-crowd advantage they had while playing in the Allentown Regional.
If the favorites do indeed advance, Denver will have the chance to repeat, while Boston University will be in the final for the first time since 2015.
