Masters Field 2025 Odds, Favorites and Tournament Preview
Scottie Scheffler is favored to win his third Masters title in four years.
The world's best male golfer conquered Augusta National Golf Club in 2022 and 2024. He finished 10th in 2023, the year Jon Rahm won the green jacket.
Rahm and Rory McIlroy have the shortest odds to win the Masters behind Scheffler.
All three players are typically in the mix on the final day of any major, especially at Augusta where they have a combined 15 top-10 finishes.
A handful of other top players will make their own surges at the green jacket from Thursday to Sunday, but no one would be surprised if one of the three favorites come away with the title on Sunday afternoon given how well they've played at Augusta in the past.

Favorites
2 of 3
Scottie Scheffler
Scottie Scheffler is understandably the favorite to don his third green jacket.
He is a two-time champion at Augusta and has five top-20 finishes at the course dating back to his first appearance in 2020.
Scheffler hasn't finished below 25th in each of his six PGA Tour appearances this season. He is coming off a tie for second at the Houston Open.
Scheffler only missed the cut once in his last 12 major appearances. He has 11 top 10s at majors since 2021. He will be a factor in some capacity come Sunday.
Rory McIlroy
Rory McIlroy is still searching for his first major title since 2014 and the completion of the career grand slam at Augusta.
McIlroy has come close countless times, including a second-place finish in 2022 at the Masters.
McIlroy is in great form with a win at the Players Championship this season and a top-five placing at the Houston Open in his last PGA Tour appearance.
The big question around McIlroy is whether or not he can close on Sunday at a major. He's been in the top eight in nine of his last 12 major starts, but the closest he's gotten to a win in that span is three second-place finishes.
Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm has been more up-and-down at majors recently compared to Scheffler and McIlroy.
The 2023 Masters champion finished in a tie for 45th in his title defense a year ago and only had one top-10 major finish at the British Open.
Last year's tie for 45th was more of an outlier for Rahm's overall form at Augusta. He finished in the top 10 in five of his eight Masters appearances.
Tournament Preview
3 of 3
Scheffler, McIlroy and Rahm are the primary names on the marquee coming into Augusta.
However, a few other golfers should have a say once Sunday rolls around, starting with Ludvig Aberg.
The Swede finished in second place behind Scheffler last year. He also finished in a tie for 12th at the U.S. Open.
Aberg is currently seventh in the FedEx Cup standings and he should use last year's high placing as a confidence booster going into his second Masters appearance.
Collin Morikawa, Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele all finished in the top 10 last year at Augusta.
DeChambeau landed in the top six at all three American-based majors in 2024. He could lead the LIV Golf contingent on the leaderboard for most of the week.
The recent list of Masters winners is a who's who of the game's elite players. There hasn't been a surprise winner at Augusta since Danny Willett in 2016.
There's a good chance one of the top 10 or 15 golfers in the world comes away with the green jacket again, but in order to do so, that player likely has to outduel Scheffler on a course he has mastered in his career.
