Dillon Brooks Suspended 1 Game for Rockets After 16th Technical Foul vs. Jazz
Dillon Brooks once again found himself on the wrong end of a technical foul on Wednesday.
The Houston Rockets forward kicked Collin Sexton while attempting a fadeaway jumper against the Utah Jazz, earning him a technical foul. Because it's Brooks' 16th technical of the year, he'll now be suspended one game.

Brooks picked up his 14th and 15th technical fouls less than a week ago when he got into a shoving match with Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant before arguing with the official. Despite how many technical fouls he's received this year, it was Brooks' first ejection this season but the seventh of his career.
Brooks has the second-most technical fouls this season, only behind Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, who has 18.
Throughout his eight-year career, Brooks has seen his fair share of technical fouls and ejections. In fact, he's amassed $373,000 in fines over the course of his career, per Spotrac.
One could argue that Brooks toes the line a little too often when it comes to getting into it with other players, but he said earlier this year after being ejected in a preseason game that his reputation has led to referees having a quick whistle toward him.
"I might have tapped him below the waist, but he got right back up, and I don't know," Brooks said in October after being ejected for striking Indiana's Daniel Theis. "It's just weird that every time that happens to me, I get picked on, so I guess this is a part of the reputation."
"What's the name? What's my name? My name is Dillon the Villain, so I guess," he added when asked if he feels officials target him.
Whether Brooks is officiated differently than other players is subjective, but either way, he'll have to sit and watch as the Rockets face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
Luckily for Houston, it's currently sitting in second place in the Western Conference and can clinch a playoff berth with a win over Utah on Wednesday.
