Big Ten Tournament 2025: Schedule and Men's Conference Bracketology Predictions
With Michigan’s loss last night to Maryland, Michigan State clinched at least a share of the Big Ten regular season title for the first time since 2019-20.
While the Spartans have been one of the nation’s best teams all year, with a 10-4 Quad 1 record, the rest of the conference is not far behind.
The Big Ten is deeper than ever this season, featuring NINE other programs that own at least six Quad 1 wins (Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue, UCLA, Wisconsin).
Unlike previous years, the conference's three worst teams will not qualify for the tournament given the Big Ten’s expansion this past year.
So, who will survive and advance at next week’s conference tournament?
Here’s everything you need to know.

Bracket Predictions
2 of 2
Michigan State enters the Big Ten tournament in top form after winning five straight, including back-to-back Quad 1 road wins over Michigan and Maryland.
However, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Purdue are all dangerous opponents, while Maryland, fresh off a Quad 1 road victory over Michigan, has won six of their last seven games.
That's before including the new West Coast additions (Oregon, UCLA), who each place top 30 in NET rankings.
Conference tournament seeding will come down to the final regular games on Saturday, with Michigan, Maryland, Wisconsin, Purdue, and UCLA all still in the race for a top four seed, which comes with the advantageous double-bye.
Michigan State is more than capable of reaching the championship unscathed; however, Oregon can easily eliminate the Spartans given their current six-game win streak and ability to seemingly always perform well in March.
It's quite possible that Michigan State exits early and either Oregon or Wisconsin reaches the championship game against Maryland.
Prediction: Wisconsin over Maryland
