WWE WrestleMania 41 Match Card Predictions After Elimination Chamber 2025
An earth-shattering Elimination Chamber on Saturday night successfully set the stage for WWE WrestleMania 41 and managed to make the rest of the road to 'Mania infinitely more interesting.
John Cena's victory inside the Undisputed WWE Championship number one contender's Elimination Chamber match was largely expected, but the same can't be said for his subsequent heel turn. His betrayal of Cody Rhodes and joining of forces with The Rock was a brilliantly-executed angle that will be talked about for many years to come.
The shocking development certainly gives WWE programming a jolt of excitement and unpredictability at a time when fan interest was starting to wane. That's in addition to other potential marquee matchups that have either already been confirmed for the card or have been hinted at as of late.
Anything is bound to change in the coming weeks, but there can be no doubt that the lineup for The Show of Shows in Las Vegas is much clearer after everything that transpired in Toronto.
Here are the updated match card predictions for WrestleMania 41 following the results of Elimination Chamber 2025.
Matches Already Official
1 of 7Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena
Rhodes vs. Cena may have been heavily rumored for WrestleMania 41 for months, but few fans actually saw it taking the form that it did at Elimination Chamber. It would have been a massive match regardless, but Cena going rogue and aligning with The Rock makes the buildup to the bout all the more must-see, particularly from a promo standpoint.
WWE Women's Championship: Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair
Flair made the correct choice in challenging Stratton at WrestleMania as it's a fresh match with the potential to steal the show. Although their storyline hasn't gotten off to a strong start, there's still plenty of time for Stratton to find her footing as a face while Flair compliments her as the natural heel she is.
World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther vs. Jey Uso
2025 men's Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso wasted no time in setting his sights on World Heavyweight champ Gunther for 'Mania and rightfully so. Uso has never beaten The Ring General, so doing so to prove his naysayers wrong and capture the prestigious prize in the process is a WrestleMania moment waiting to happen.
Potential Undercard Additions
2 of 7The New Day vs. Rey Mysterio and Penta
New Day viciously attacking the WWE Hall of Famer to end Raw a few weeks back all but confirmed a tag team match pitting them against Mysterio and a partner of his choosing for WrestleMania. Last year, it was Andrade, but this year, it'd make more sense for him to enlist the services of Penta to ensure the WWE newcomer makes the card.
Multi-Man Intercontinental Championship Match
Bron Breakker has been teasing many different WrestleMania matches since before the Royal Rumble, so it'd be rather typical of WWE to throw him in a match with all of the assumed challengers at the event. This would likely include some variation of Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, AJ Styles, Sheamus and/or Logan Paul.
Multi-Team WWE Tag Team Championship Match
#DIY have made enemies out of the entire SmackDown tag team division since regaining the WWE Tag Team Championship back in December. Having them defend against just The Motor City Machine Guns and The Street Profits in some sort of a stipulation match would be the best use of everyone involved, but Los Garza and Pretty Deadly remain possible additions.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Damage CTRL
Morgan and Rodriguez are the new WWE Women's Tag Team champions as of the Feb. 24 edition of Raw, which means they're virtually guaranteed to compete at 'Mania. Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai already own a win over them from February, so this would be the logical direction to go in.
Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu
The former Bloodline has yet to officially implode, so there's no telling if a singles bout between Sikoa and Fatu is where WWE is headed. If so, this is ideally how the storyline should culminate.
Women's World Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair
3 of 7Bianca Belair won the women's Elimination Chamber on Saturday night to cement her spot in the Women's World Championship match at WrestleMania 41.
The only question left to answer is who her opponent will be on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
It's safe to assume it'll be reigning champ Rhea Ripley, but Iyo Sky can't be counted out completely. Sky won't win the title on Monday's Raw, but there could be an indecisive finish that creates the need for a Triple Threat.
On a show that is bound to feature several other multi-person matchups, a Triple Threat in this situation is unnecessary, especially when Ripley vs. Belair sells itself as an attraction. They've teased facing off one-on-one at 'Mania for years and now it could finally come to fruition.
Ripley has sorely needed a compelling challenger to bring the best out of her again and The EST of WWE is the perfect fit given their well-documented history from NXT. This could conceivably headline Night 1 of WrestleMania depending on how hot the build is.
Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
4 of 7The excellent women's Elimination Chamber kicked off the night on a high note, but overshadowed by Bianca Belair's victory was Jade Cargill's surprise return and attack on Naomi.
Cargill disappeared from WWE TV last November after being ambushed in the parking lot. Naomi stepping up as Belair's WWE Women's Tag Team Championship partner in her absence was a heavy indicator that she was the one responsible.
Cargill returning to target Naomi sets them up for a significant singles match at WrestleMania, provided WWE doesn't relegate it to the SmackDown of WrestleMania weekend.
It's extremely rare for WrestleMania to host women's matches that aren't contested for championships and Cargill vs. Naomi will have enough storyline support to justify its place on the lineup. A heel turn for Naomi should also give her the character reset she's needed for some time now.
The only issue with the program is that Belair presumably won't be involved having just entered the Women's World Championship mix. Perhaps she can pull double duty, but keeping the feud focused on Cargill and Naomi should be top priority.
Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest
5 of 7All signs pointed to Drew McIntyre facing Damian Priest at WrestleMania 41 after Priest eliminated McIntyre from the men's Royal Rumble match, and those rumors were reinforced at Elimination Chamber when McIntyre suffered the same fate at the hands of Priest in the Undisputed WWE Championship number one contender's Chamber match.
The two waged war on a handful of occasions in 2024 between WrestleMania 40, Clash at the Castle and Money in the Bank with Priest coming out on top every single time. McIntyre rekindling that rivalry by costing Priest the win at Elimination Chamber despite already being eliminated will allow him to correct course at 'Mania.
It's far from a high-profile position for McIntyre, but it's a solid spot for Priest to find himself in. They've also proven in the past that they work well together and thus it's sure to be a quality contest on the undercard either night of WrestleMania.
WWE had the opportunity to go in a different direction with McIntyre after the Rumble—ideally with LA Knight—but evidently opted not to.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
6 of 7Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have never had an issue inflicting pain and punishment on each other when it has mattered most, and in their "unsanctioned" outing at Elimination Chamber, they held nothing back in their conquest for complete superiority.
In a vile display of domination and brutality, Owens reigned supreme over Zayn, but not satisfied with his victory, Owens continued to assault his former friend before Randy Orton made his triumphant return to prevent more damage from being done.
Orton found himself in a similar spot mere months ago when Owens sidelined him with a piledriver. The Viper nearly got his revenge in the form of a patented punt kick to Owens' skull, but Owens escaped before Orton could follow through with it.
That punt kick must undoubtedly be delivered at WrestleMania when they settle their score one-on-one. That's a WrestleMania-worthy encounter that could arguably go either way.
That would leave Zayn without an obvious opponent for the event unless he settles for a storyline with Karrion Kross or misses it all together to sell the injuries he sustained against Owens.
Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
7 of 7This was another WrestleMania match that was heavily speculated following what went down at the Royal Rumble, and although it was unknown if WWE had alternate plans for these three, it was once again foreshadowed at Elimination Chamber when CM Punk eliminated Seth Rollins from the men's Chamber and Rollins retaliated by costing Punk the matchup.
Rollins exhibited the exact same tendencies when he and Roman Reigns eliminated each other from the men's Rumble and Rollins proceeded to lay out Reigns with two Curb Stomps on top of steel steps. Reigns has yet to resurface, but his return should be imminent.
Punk and Reigns currently don't have the level of animosity toward each other that they do with Punk, especially after they successfully teamed up inside WarGames in November. However, that can be fixed with a simple promo exchange or brawl one of these weeks on Raw or SmackDown.
A Triple Threat without anything at stake seems strange on paper, but the star power alone makes this a major match for WrestleMania 41. Punk's looming favor from Paul Heyman could increase the chances of this becoming a Night 1 main-event as well.
