Predicting the WrestleMania 41 Feud for Every Wrestler in Elimination Chamber Matches

Erik BeastonFeb 17, 2025

Ten Superstars have qualified for the men's and women's Elimination Chamber matches on March 1, and fans are eager to know who will emerge from those contests with a world title shot at WrestleMania 41.

But what awaits each of them on The Grandest Stage of Them All?

Ahead of the upcoming premium live event, find out who may be involved in what at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19-20 and how it will affect their road to The Showcase of the Immortals in this preview.

John Cena

1 of 7
WWE Royal Rumble

There may be a larger story at play following his Royal Rumble loss, but John Cena inserting himself into the men's Elimination Chamber match without qualifying for it and claiming "merit," feels like the first hint of a heel turn that fans have waited two decades for.

There's no telling if that story plays out in time for WrestleMania or if Cena remains a tried-and-true babyface leading into the event, but one thing is for certain: In a year without The Rock returning to the squared circle, Cena vs. Cody Rhodes is the biggest main event WWE can offer fans.

Cena winning the Elimination Chamber and chasing a historic 17th title against the man who has become the face of a generation is a story that writes itself, splits the audience and results in an electric atmosphere in Las Vegas.

More importantly, it feels like the right direction, despite the number of red herrings sprinkled in and around WWE TV of late.

CM Punk and Logan Paul

2 of 7
Monday Night RAW

Just 24 hours before the Royal Rumble, Punk made an offhand comment to Kevin Owens about never losing to Logan Paul, only to be eliminated from the 30-man contest by the social media star.

Since then, they had a confrontation on Raw and while it may not be the most prestigious matchup for Punk as he returns to the WrestleMania stage, a showdown with Paul would make for some entertaining television and bring some mainstream attention to his match.

With both slated for the Elimination Chamber, expect some chicanery not unlike last year when Paul cost Randy Orton with a pair of brass knuckles to set him and Punk on a collision course in Vegas.

Whether we like it or not.

Drew McIntyre

3 of 7
SmackDown

Based on the quality of his work in 2024, anything Drew McIntyre does outside of the top-tier matches at this year's WrestleMania is going to feel like a step down.

With that said, do not count out a matchup against LA Knight that, at the very least, would give both something of substance to do.

We saw the two pummel each other during the qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber and trash-talked a bit before that to plant the seeds. While there wasn't much in the way of a follow-up, that could be a bit of misdirection to throw fans off the scent.

Knight's focus on regaining the United States Championship throws a bit of a wrench into that idea, as we saw on Friday's SmackDown.

With so many moving pieces and so much muddied direction for them thus far in the build to the biggest show of the year, it could again be a means to keep fans guessing what Triple H and the creative team has in store for them at WrestleMania.

If Knight is not the matchup for McIntyre, there are real questions to be asked about The Scottish Warrior's utilization entering this year's Show of Shows.

Damian Priest

4 of 7
SmackDown

For a Superstar who was such an integral part of Raw throughout 2024, it feels rather unfair that Damian Priest appears to be the odd man out of a big WrestleMania match.

With that said, there have been recent interactions that suggest he could find his way into a battle with The Bloodline in some form or fashion.

A matchup with Jacob Fatu, who has become one of the breakout stars in WWE, would be a great spot for The Archer of Infamy.

Not only is Priest a believable big man with a world title to his name, but he could also be integral in preparing Fatu for the next step.

A showdown between two heavyweights who can slug it out, captivate the fans and give them a physical battle unlike anything else on the card means more than any other thrown-together matchup or program the creative forces can put together.

Liv Morgan, Naomi and Bianca Belair

5 of 7
Monday Night RAW

Women's tag team champions Bianca Belair and Naomi have been on a collision course with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez since before the Royal Rumble.

After they fought on the ramp following their elimination from the women's match, and SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis presented evidence to suggests Morgan and Rodriguez may have been involved in the sneak attack that left Jade Cargill sidelined, it appears that tag team title match is the direction things are headed for WrestleMania.

With three of the four already qualified for the women's Elimination Chamber, and Rodriguez potentially cashing her ticket Monday night on Raw, don't be surprised to see the four wage war with each other inside the steel structure to set the stage for a formal WrestleMania announcement shortly thereafter.

Whether the feud has enough substance to keep fans interested until the middle of April—and Cargill's role in it—remains to be seen.

Bayley

6 of 7
Monday Night RAW

Bayley has been in and around the title picture on SmackDown for the past year. She has enjoyed considerable screen time, battled every top star in the division and made some mainstream headlines by competing in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game.

However, she still feels like the odd woman out here; a legitimate star with no clear direction for WrestleMania.

Enter Chelsea Green, the first-ever and reigning women's United States champion.

A feud between them would help elevate Green and her title while keeping Bayley busy with a meaningful match at WrestleMania.

Even if the contest ends up taking place on the SmackDown before WrestleMania, it's more meaningful than being stuck in a multi-woman tag match or thrown into a Battle Royal that no one remembers.

The Role Model has earned better than that, especially after her performance a year ago when she won the Rumble and the WWE Women's Championship from Iyo Sky.

Alexa Bliss

7 of 7
SmackDown

Alexa Bliss' return resulted in one of the loudest pops of the entire Royal Rumble, but there are questions about where she fits in on the WrestleMania card.

While there are paths there, the answer is simpler than that: She doesn't. At least not in a wrestling capacity.

We saw the first hints of the Wyatt Sicks' interactions with Bliss on Friday's SmackDown when one of the group's trademark "technical difficulties" left fans chasing Easter eggs and a clear message regarding Little Miss Bliss:

Whatever her plans for WrestleMania are, they are almost certainly linked to The Wyatt Sicks and whatever will be keeping the group occupied in Vegas.

Perhaps that means a tag match with former teammate Nikki Cross against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae?
