WWE SmackDown Spoilers: Complete Results and Analysis for June 25
On the heels of a WWE Raw in which Seth Rollins and The Authority left Brock Lesnar lying in a heap, WWE rolled into Toledo, Ohio, for this week's SmackDown tapings.
The world heavyweight champion was sure to be gloating as he took to the squared circle on Tuesday night, especially after conquering The Beast just 24 hours earlier. But would his braggadocious attitude earn him the scorn of other Superstars? If so, who?
With the relationship between Dolph Ziggler and Lana intensifying with each and every passing week, how would Rusev make his presence felt when The Showoff battled "Mr. Money in the Bank," Sheamus?

Intercontinental champion Ryback was in action, battling Director of Operations Kane. With The Big Guy in action, it was only a matter of time before The World's Largest Athlete got himself involved. What would that mean for the champion?
Fans inside the Huntington Center got their answers on Tuesday.

- Rollins, Kane and Joey Mercury kicked off the show. They acknowledged Jamie Noble's injuries before Ryback interrupted. For some reason, Kane booked himself against the IC champion while Rollins issued a challenge to Dean Ambrose to fight him later.
- Sheamus defeated Ziggler when Rusev provided a distraction. After the match, Summer Rae applauded Rusev's actions and winked at The Bulgarian Brute.
- Alicia Fox defeated Naomi. Tamina took the Bella Twins out at ringside with a double superkick.
- Ryback defeated Kane by disqualification when Big Show interfered. The former tag champions left The Big Guy in need of assistance.
- The Lucha Dragons and Prime Time Players defeated Bo Dallas and The New Day.
- A backstage segment involving Ambrose and Roman Reigns aired, with Reigns being haunted by Bray Wyatt's parlor tricks.
- Rollins defeated Ambrose when Mercury interfered.

Analysis
So, what was once a pay-per-view main event just two weeks ago is now a hastily booked main event on a throwaway episode of SmackDown?
Ambrose has spent months as the most popular star in the company, yet he again finds himself on the outside of the main event scene looking in. After dropping a match to Kane on Monday night, he loses again—albeit by interference in both instances.
Sure, it keeps him in the mix, his feud with The Authority still going strong. But every time he is demoted and asked to take a backseat, his credibility is hurt.
Another loss does not help matters, regardless of whether Mercury interfered or not.
The rest of the show looks fairly nondescript.
Ziggler and Sheamus typically have great matches, including a bloody one back at Payback, but the contest has been done to death in recent weeks. Thus, there really is no reason to tune in when the Rusev distraction bit is evident from miles away.
Ryback has been doing a phenomenal job as intercontinental champion, making the most of his championship opportunity, but being saddled with Kane and Big Show does not necessarily allow him to display his talents.
The lack of star power definitely hurts.
Rollins and Ambrose have dominated airwaves and are among the best workers in the industry, but the lack of John Cena, Kevin Owens or even an in-ring appearance from Reigns makes the show meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
Still, what looks like a lackluster show on paper will probably be incredibly fun. SmackDown is an easy watch most weeks thanks to the faster pace when compared to Raw, and this should be no different.
