WWE Battleground 2015: Booking Decisions That Must Be Made at PPV
With five weeks between Money in the Bank and WWE's next pay-per-view, Battleground, there is plenty of time to ensure that all the major decisions are made correctly on July 19.
With Brock Lesnar now back on the main roster and heading for the main event at Battleground, talk will be rife behind the scenes as to whether he wins back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Elsewhere, John Cena and Kevin Owens clash for the third consecutive pay-per-view, with a big decision again needing to be made to ensure both men come out of that contest in the correct manner.

And with the company's other major championships on the line, what decisions does WWE need to ensure it makes at Battleground?
Sheamus Must Get Some Momentum
His win at Money in the Bank certainly constituted a surprise, and now the challenge for WWE is to make Sheamus as strong as possible in the coming months.
If he is a future world heavyweight champion in the making, then like Seth Rollins last year, there has to be a long-term plan in place to make the Irishman a credible candidate for the big prize.

This past week on Raw, Sheamus was merely a pawn in the feud between Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns. That isn't how your next big thing should be booked, and at Battleground, Sheamus needs a brutal, dominating win.
Think the Sheamus of old. The guy who put Jamie Noble out of commission on his debut—the guy whom people genuinely loved to hate.
That's the Sheamus that is world champion material, so at Battleground, he should kick off a big few months with a one-sided win.
Kevin Owens Must Become the United States Champion
They've had two fantastic battles so far, and if the third meeting between John Cena and Kevin Owens is just as good, it promises to steal the show at Battleground.
Owens has really brought the best out of Cena lately, and as commentary alluded to on Raw, it was a real Match of the Year contender.
However, the third and likely defining meeting between these stars can only end one way, and that's with a win for Owens. He is slated to defend his NXT Championship against Finn Balor at the beginning of next month, and if he loses there, that should free him up for a permanent move to the main roster.
And when he does make that permanent move, he should become the United States champion.
The opportunities from there for Owens to keep growing and getting stronger would be endless, with a potential battle with Samoa Joe for the title further down the line.
Dean Ambrose Must Get a Strong Victory
Clearly with Lesnar's return, Dean Ambrose has been knocked back one place in the queue of contenders for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
However, Ambrose hasn't exactly been booked poorly recently, and he continues to look strong moving toward the middle part of the year.
It's only because Lesnar is back on the scene that Ambrose has moved away from the title picture, and in the meantime, Ambrose must continue to be booked strongly.
No matter whom he fights at Battleground, Ambrose must get a strong, clean victory to continue his momentum.
Any feud he has over the next month or two will merely be a holding one, but it's vital he remains strong. As seen by Rollins interfering in his match against Kane on Raw, Rollins vs. Ambrose isn't done yet.
Brock Lesnar Must Remain Babyface, Win or Lose
The "Suplex City" chants, the love WWE fans have for Paul Heyman and the fact that Rollins is the undisputed top heel in the WWE: All of that means that whether he wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship or not at Battleground, Lesnar must continue to be booked as a babyface.
Clearly, Lesnar is not your conventional babyface. He's a mercenary, monster and ruthless fiend inside the ring.
But that's exactly the kind of guys WWE fans like these days: Guys who don't play by the usual rules. The best example of that is Ambrose's momentum at the moment, and he and Lesnar are quite alike in the way they operate as rebels.
So at Battleground, WWE has to ensure that Lesnar wins or loses like a babyface. If he wins, then make it as clean as possible—almost retribution and revenge for what happened to him at WrestleMania.
If he loses, make it controversial. Have The Authority decide to stick with Rollins and leave Lesnar once again picking up the pieces from another loss.
