Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose: Rumors, Likely Scenarios for Money in the Bank
After their impressive spectacle at Elimination Chamber, hopes are high that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins can once again steal the show on pay-per-view.
With a number of scenarios and outcomes possible given how the match will take place following the Money in the Bank ladder match, there are all sorts of twists potentially on the cards.
Rollins still has the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his possession, but there's no guarantee that will still be the case following Sunday night.
Ambrose has soared up the card in recent weeks to become arguably the most popular guy in WWE, and he can realistically win the title on Sunday, either with the help of someone else or on his own.
That's where Roman Reigns comes into the picture. He's competing in the traditional ladder match earlier in the night, but he will likely play an influential and important role standing by Ambrose's side.
The two have formed somewhat of an alliance in recent weeks, and CagesideSeats.com are reporting that it is being done to lead toward a heel turn for one of those men.
There's no guarantee over which it will be, but if any seems the more likely, it's a heel turn for Reigns. WWE would be foolish to throw away Ambrose's momentum as perhaps the most popular babyface they have actively working, so Roman Reigns could be the one turning at Money in the Bank.
Of course, if Reigns wins the Money in the Bank briefcase, it means there are a few ways in which Reigns can turn on his buddy Ambrose.
He could come down and cash in his briefcase on the same night as winning it, seconds after Ambrose has claimed the big prize himself. Seth Rollins, J&J Security and Kane all lay a beatdown on Ambrose because of the result, leaving Reigns coming down the ramp and taking out a sitting duck in the shape of Ambrose.
That would set up a feud between the two for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and it would also free up Rollins to have his expected feud with Brock Lesnar.
Of course, Ambrose could be cost the title victory by Reigns interfering toward the conclusion of the match. That wouldn't necessarily mean he'd join The Authority, but it would certainly guarantee a big heel turn for Reigns. That would enable Lesnar to go after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship he lost to Rollins at WrestleMania.
Both those scenarios involve a Reigns heel turn of course, but there's always the possibility of Reigns not being directly involved in the outcome of the result.
Another controversial win for Seth Rollins is not out of the question, especially with the numbers game potentially coming into play.
That would lead to Brock Lesnar coming out and confronting Rollins on Raw the following night, and it would suggest that they will meet with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
The least likely scenario of all is Ambrose winning clean without any help or interference from an outside party. It's increasingly likely that there will be some direct interference to aid either Rollins or Ambrose toward a victory, because it keeps the storylines and feuds fresh and exciting.
