Atalanta vs. AC Milan: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream and TV Info
Finally, the pain ends here.
AC Milan end yet another brutal season at Atalanta on Saturday. It's not an entirely meaningless game: A result won't help the Rossoneri get into any European competition, but a win would keep them from dropping into the bottom half of the table. That's something.
The match, too, is likely the last for coach Filippo Inzaghi. For months—really since the beginning of 2015—Inzaghi has answered questions about his future, always reiterating that he would like to stay.

"If I’m given the opportunity, then I will continue," he said in his final press conference, per Football Italia. "If the club decides to make a change, I’ll be grateful to Milan, and I’ll continue elsewhere."

It's a last chance to show Milan his abilities, but it's really too late. The Rossoneri have not won more than two games in a row under Inzaghi this season, highlighting the inconsistency of this team.
Inzaghi is not the only one running out of rope. It could be the last we see of Nigel de Jong and Stephan El Shaarawy in red and black. The Dutchman enters the summer as a free agent, and El Shaarawy could court interest on the transfer market.

Atalanta had their own concerns. They were hanging over the drop zone for much of the second half of the season. But Atalanta secured another season in Serie A last weekend, and they have only lost once in eight matches.
"A victory would also give us 40 points, so if we win then we can say that we earned salvation ourselves, not because other teams failed to," Atalanta coach Edy Reja told reporters, per Forza Italian Football.
Predicted lineups
Jeremy Menez has served his four-match ban, but his season is done. The Frenchman, who has scored 16 goals for Milan this season, picked up an injury in training. He was not called up.
Christian Abbiati will likely get the start in goal. It could be his last game as a professional, with Milan or any team, as his contract expires at the end of the season.
"If they don’t renew my contract, I will retire," Abbiati told Milan Channel (h/t Forza Italian Football).
The only other major change to the lineup: Mattia Destro in for Giampaolo Pazzini, who scored his 100th Serie A goal against Torino last weekend. This could also be Destro's final appearance with the Rossoneri, as his loan deal runs out. Milan do not look too eager to activate his buyout option at €16 million.
Possible starting XI for Milan: Abbiati; Bocchetti, Paletta, Mexes, De Sciglio; Bonaventura, De Jong, Van Ginkel; El Shaarawy, Destro, Honda
Possible starting XI for Atalanta: Sportiello; Del Grosso, Masiello, Benalouane, Zappacosta; Grassi, Cigarini, Baselli; Gomez, Denis, Moralez
Player to watch
It has to be De Jong. He has been Milan's most important player over the past two seasons, and his Milan career could be coming to an end. He is always first to the ball, despite earning 11 yellow cards this season.
"98 - Nigel de Jong made more interceptions than any other Serie A midfielder this season. Warrior.

De Jong will leave a huge gap in the middle of the park if he does leave. He even helps out on the offensive side of the ball, scoring three goals this year.
Prediction: Atalanta 1 Milan 3
