USA vs. Korea Republic Women's Soccer: Date, Time, Stream, 2015 Friendly Preview
The U.S. women's soccer team will play the final match of its send-off series ahead of the 2015 World Cup when it entertains Korea Republic in New Jersey. As a final warm-up for her players ahead of the big tournament, coach Jill Ellis will need to engineer a delicate balancing act at Red Bull Arena.
She will want players fit and sharp for the World Cup, but Ellis will also be wary of late injuries before the real action begins in Canada in June. It's a tough mix for a coach who'll want to see fluency and rapport in the team's passing and combination play, but she may be loath to risk too many important players.

One player certain to sit the game out is forward Alex Morgan. The prolific attacker is content to bide her time and heal to be ready for the opening match in Canada, per USA Today Sports' Laken Litman.

Ellis will be happy to let Morgan rest. It will be more important to have the 25-year-old Portland Thorns star ready for the opener on June 8.
Morgan joins veteran aerial powerhouse Abby Wambach to form the focal point of the U.S. attack, while there is also Sydney Leroux to consider.
She's hitting good form at exactly the right time after finding the net twice in a recent 5-1 thrashing of Mexico. ESPNW.com's Jeff Carlisle noted how the Mexicans' high defensive line was no match against Leroux's impressive pace.
The Leroux-Morgan-Wambach trio has combined for a mightily impressive 268 goals at the international level, according to ESPN FC. It represents Ellis' team's best hopes for success in Canada.
Before then, though, the coach who usually prefers a 4-4-2 look will want to see how a complementary partnership of Wambach's strength as the foil for Leroux's speed can fare.

But the more interesting issue could be how the USWNT defence stands up to the Korea Republic's forward line. Attacking midfielder Ji Soyun and forward Park Eunsun represent the main threat. The latter led her nation in scoring during World Cup qualifiers, per USSoccer.com.
Carlisle has indicated that a reshuffled defensive group, one that's also welcomed back goalkeeper Hope Solo, is the big question mark for the U.S. ahead of the World Cup.
One final test will be a good indicator of how solid things are at the back.
Ideally, Ellis will want to see a professional, yet measured, performance against Korea Republic. If the team is accomplished both going forward and in defence, Ellis will feel confident about the bigger challenges that lie ahead.
