NBA Combine Results 2015: Players Who Made Biggest Impressions
At the NBA Draft Combine, players find themselves in one of two camps—either not wanting to do anything that might cost them money or wanting to do anything possible to gain a bit of coin come draft day.
The combine is all about players ensuring they'll maximize their draft values. For some players, that means not showing up at all is just good business sense. For others, it's key to not only show up but also to participate in every drill and scrimmage.
Below, we'll take a look at the combine results and break down a few players who helped their draft stocks during the event.

On Thursday, few folks impressed more than Pat Connaughton, who showed off some impressive athleticism and finished with the highest vertical leap, per Chad Ford of ESPN:
Connaughton is also a pitching prospect who exceeds 90 mph on his fastball, so any doubts about his athleticism can be put to rest. And he's certainly insistent that he'll be prioritizing basketball over baseball, per Sam Vecenie of CBS Sports:
"Pat Connaughton: “I’m trying to get the word out that I’m two feet in, 100% in” regarding his basketball career vs. baseball.
— Sam Vecenie (@Sam_Vecenie) May 15, 2015"
Of course, he also played well on the court Friday, finishing his five-on-five scrimmage with 18 points and three rebounds while going 4-of-8 from three-point range. It's possible that Connaughton could crack the late first round with his strong showing at the combine, and his ability as a defender and outside shooter will make him appealing to teams in the second round.
Devin Booker is another excellent athlete who impressed folks with his athleticism. The Kentucky product crushed his lane-agility drill, per the NBA Draft on Twitter:
Like most of the top prospects, Booker didn't partake in the scrimmages. But the fact that he already has a defined NBA skill—his excellent perimeter shooting—paired with excellent athleticism means that NBA teams will be plenty intrigued.
NBA teams apparently left the combine impressed with Virginia's Justin Anderson, who was one of the more athletic players on display at the proceedings, to the point that Jason McIntyre of the Big Lead tweeted the following:
Anderson's season ended in disappointment at Virginia, but the fact that he could be rocketing up draft boards should cheer him up.
And then there was Rakeem Christmas. The big man tore up the scrimmage Friday, finishing with 19 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Paired with the 20 points, six rebounds and one block he posted in Thursday's scrimmage, Christmas showed he can hang with top competition on the court at the combine.
That could go a long way toward ensuring he'll be off the board early in the second round or perhaps even bump him into the first round. Christmas may have given himself a gift and earned some major money at the combine.
