Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez Lead Argentina Squad for 2015 Copa America
Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero are among the terrific attacking options available to Argentina boss Gerardo Martino after he confirmed his 23-man squad for this summer's Copa America.
Alex Richards of the Daily Mirror noted the final names to feature in the tournament, which will be held in Chile.
Martino originally named a 30-man preliminary squad, but has now trimmed the numbers ahead of the Copa America, as Sky Sports correspondent Paulo Freitas noted:

The Argentina head coach is now considering his starting XI for when his team open their campaign against Paraguay on June 13.
Martino was quoted by La Nacion (h/t Yahoo.com) as saying: "I almost have my ideal 11. I haven't got my nine yet because there's a fight (between three) that is settled day by day in the practices."
Messi, who won the 2014 World Cup's Golden Ball, will once again lead the team. He played under Martino at Barcelona during a difficult 2014-15 season—which ended without a trophy—but will be desperate to inspire his side to their first Copa America victory since 1993.

Tevez missed Argentina's run to the World Cup final after being exiled from the squad in 2011. Martino returned the bullish forward to the lineup in November 2014, something Tevez was "overjoyed" with, according to Goal.com.
Even the nation's defence—which includes Nicolas Otamendi, Ezequiel Garay, Marcos Rojo and Pablo Zabaleta—offers quality when entering the final third of the pitch.
Martino's biggest task is finding an effective balance. Argentina's offensive options are unmatched if you take each player individually, but the team was often left exposed when play broke down under previous boss Alejandro Sabella. Diego Maradona, head coach from 2008-10, also failed to find a sustainable attacking formula.

Argentina can be considered one of the favourites for the tournament after last year's brilliant run to the World Cup showpiece. Rivals Brazil will still be smarting from their 7-1 defeat to Germany at last year's tournament, so they will be looking to bounce back with a dominant showing in knockout competition.
Copa America hosts Chile also cannot be overlooked and will be propped up by world-class players such as Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal.
