Players Championship 2015: Tee Times, Pairings and Predictions for Sunday
Chris Kirk heads into the final round of the 2015 Players Championship with sole possession of the lead, but no fewer than nine golfers are within two strokes of the top spot. Round 4 shouldn't be lacking for drama.
With his second four-under 68 in as many rounds, Kirk moved to 10 under par for the tournament. That puts him one shot ahead of Kevin Kisner, Ben Martin and Bill Haas. Meanwhile, Kevin Na and Jerry Kelly, who shared the lead after three rounds, remained stuck at eight under after each shot even par Saturday.
Here's a look at when each of the remaining golfers will tee off Sunday.

Kirk isn't exactly a household name for golf fans, but ESPN.com's Jason Sobel believes that the 30-year-old's talent flies under the radar:
Winning the Players Championship would certainly help Kirk make a name for himself on the PGA Tour. CBS Sports' Kyle Porter thinks Kirk could also rub the victory in the face of Tom Watson, who famously left him off the 2014 Ryder Cup team:
Kirk has been one of the more consistent golfers at TPC Sawgrass this year. All three of his rounds have been under par so far, and he has just four bogeys over 54 holes.
Still, with so many golfers so tightly packed near the top of the leaderboard, it seems highly likely that the lead will change hands multiple times Sunday.
Justin Thomas could be a major wild card. He entered Round 3 well off of the lead but ended it just two shots off Kirk after posting the lowest score of the round: a seven-under 65. Even more impressive, he still had a great day despite somehow doing this on a drive, per Sean Martin of PGATour.com:
Thomas has steadily improved as the tournament has gone on. He shot a 73 and 70 over the first two rounds before his Saturday outburst.
Should Thomas prevail, he would beat out Adam Scott as the youngest Players Championship winner ever, per Golf Channel's Justin Ray:
As good as he was Saturday, Thomas should still be considered more of an outsider to win. As GolfChannel.com's Will Gray noted, his average scoring over the final two rounds is far from impressive:
Maybe Saturday is a sign that Thomas' weekend struggles are a thing of the past. But it's a safe bet that he's not going to record 10 birdies for the second round in a row. He'll regress a bit and fail to seriously mount a challenge on Kirk or whomever the leader may be.
Carrying the lead into the final round of the Players Championship is a lot of pressure for a 22-year-old. Perhaps he can pull it off, but don't count on it.
A name to watch in the final round will be Rory McIlroy. The four-time major champion has been solid, if unspectacular, through the first three days. He hasn't had a bad round yet, nor has he had the kind of 18-hole performance that would result in a surge up the leaderboard.
The question Sunday will be whether McIlroy once again plays to type and struggles on the front nine before flipping a switch on the back nine, via Golf Central:
"I sort of get up there and I've got about six shots in my head that I can hit," he said of his mindset for many of the holes on the front nine, per Gray. "I just need to try and pick one of them and commit to them and sometimes, of the six shots, I don’t hit any of them."
Sitting four shots back, McIlroy will have a ton of work to do, but you could see him putting together a six-under final round and really making things interesting.
