2000 Guineas 2015: Winner, Payouts and Order of Finish
Gleneagles rallied to clinch victory in the 2000 Guineas on Saturday, claiming the top prize of just over £280,000 for his team. Territories and Ivawood took second and third place, respectively, but it was Gleneagles who took the one-mile distance in his stride most comfortably to win the first classic of 2015.
The Champions Series' official Twitter account confirmed the result, with jockey Ryan Moore barely breaking a sweat before sealing another triumph for trainer Aidan O'Brien:

Newmarket was blessed with good conditions on Saturday as the 2015 flat campaign exploded into life with the Guineas providing a short-but-sweet injection of pace to this year's action.
Three years on from his last Guineas victory, O'Brien is now tied as the race's most successful trainer in history, according to Cornelius Lysaght of BBC Sport:
Both he and all at Coolmore have great reason to be upbeat about what the rest of 2015 holds for Gleneagles, too, after the three-year-old stormed to win so comfortably on Saturday.
The supplementation of Territories at such a late hour had some under the impression he could spoil Gleneagles' parade, but the real class came to the boil at Newmarket.

Moore took his time to emerge from the field atop Gleneagles, but once there was some daylight around the four-furlong mark, there were none who looked close to challenging.
Owner Michael Tabor was quoted by Channel 4 Racing when asked to give his assessment of the horse's performance and opened up a world of possibilities to his asset:
Excitement will also be building around this colt considering he was sired by the great Galileo, but living up to the legacy of one's pedigree isn't always a direct science in horse racing.
Prior to the race, Graham Cunningham of Channel 4 Racing had tipped this as the barometer for Gleneagles, a race that would determine just how ready he is for the big stages—and how well he replied to that call:
O'Brien's touch of training class combined with the backing of Coolmore's considerable reputation is once again proving to be a winning combination, and there's perhaps no reason to rule out a Triple Crown.
However, making the step up to one mile and four furlongs at the Epsom Derby in a month's time will be a greater test of versatility and show of the character Gleneagles does—or doesn't—possess.
