Pacquiao vs. Mayweather: Top Pre-Fight Highlights and Comments
The weigh-in for Saturday night's superfight between Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. and Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao took place Friday night. As expected, both fighters made weight, and there were no shenanigans at the event.
Per ESPN.com's Dan Rafael, Pacquiao weighed in at 145 pounds, which is two pounds under the welterweight limit. Mayweather weighed in at 146 pounds. Both fighters will likely rehydrate up past 147 pounds for fight night, but don't expect anyone to weigh an outrageous amount.

The two men are professionals and have never experienced issues making weight in their careers.

The entire MGM Grand was sold out, with tickets going for $10 just to see the two future Hall of Famers step on a scale. Proceeds for the weigh-in went to a charity of each man's choice.
While it might have generated some great television to see Mayweather and Pacquiao get into some sort of wrestling match at the weigh-in, things stayed civil and professional. These two fighters have the utmost respect for one another. As much attention as the fight has generated, both hold the other in high regard. That mutual admiration seemingly won't allow things to become too much of a circus.
In fact, if you watch the interview portion of the weigh-in from the ShoSports video below, you can hear and see Pacquiao actually thank Mayweather for fighting him.
When asked about Pacquiao's action, Mayweather dismissed it and instead chose to talk about focusing on the job at hand.
When Mayweather and Pacquiao spoke with Jim Gray and Max Kellerman, respectively, they talked about the respect and the colossal event set for Saturday. Mayweather seemed focused, but slightly tense. It's clear he's tired of answering questions and doing interviews. That's likely why he blew off Gray's question.
It wasn't a callous response. Fighters have to guard against becoming too friendly toward their opponent. This is especially the case with an opponent as likable as Pacquiao.
Overall, Mayweather was not willing to talk as much as he has in the past at weigh-ins. The normal Money May bravado was and has been absent throughout most of the buildup for this fight.
This is not just another scrap for Mayweather. Aside from the money to be made, this opponent is different. The time is also different. Mayweather insists he has but one fight left in him after this bout. With the end near, Mayweather is all business. On Saturday night, he'll need to be.
