Best Remaining Players

Landon Collins, S, Alabama

Once believed to be the top safety in this year's draft, Landon Collins has slipped to the second round. Collins is a physical safety who excels in run support, but there's a question as to how well he'll cover in the NFL.

In a league that is so pass-happy, that perceived deficiency is reason enough for Collins to slip. Still, his on-field production won't go completely unnoticed. He had three interceptions and 60 tackles for one of the best defenses in the nation.

Sliding through the first round will likely serve as major motivation for Collins. When the first 32 picks had passed, he indicated as much on Twitter:

It would be very surprising if Collins doesn't hear his name called within the first 10 picks in the second round.

Eli Harold, OLB/DE, Virginia

Edge-rushers were a hot ticket in the first round, and that trend should continue Friday. Eli Harold of the Virginia Cavaliers is one of the players at that position who figures to be taken in the second or third round.

He had seven sacks for the Cavs in 2014 and 17.5 in three years in college. While he doesn't have the production that a player like Vic Beasley of the Clemson Tigers does, Harold did show well at the NFL Scouting Combine. He ran a 4.60 40-yard dash and looked the part of a starting defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker.

He's a candidate to go to the Chicago Bears with the 39th pick.

Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State

Many people want to know who the next quarterback taken will be. It could be the Baylor Bears' Bryce Petty or the Colorado State Rams' Garrett Grayson.

While he stands only 6'2", Grayson is a classic pocket passer with limited mobility. He has a strong arm, but he isn't the type of player who is capable of making the defense worry about his feet.

In 2014, Grayson threw for 4,006 yards, 32 touchdown passes and just seven interceptions. There's a chance a team could fall in love with him and select him in the second round, but Grayson seems more like a player best suited for the third or fourth round.
