Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: Fight Card Odds and Undercard Predictions
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the favorite over Manny Pacquiao in Saturday's superfight, but Money has the thinnest odds of any of the favored fighters on the event's main card. As of Thursday night, Mayweather's odds to win were 7-20, per Odds Shark. Pacquiao's are 9-4.
Who's fighting on the undercard? Don't feel bad if you don't know. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao could overshadow just about any fight in history, and the undercard bouts are bad. Boxing Monthly doesn't sound enthused about the fights preceding Mayweather vs. Pacquiao at all:
Here's a look at the other bouts scheduled for the main card with odds and predictions for each:
| Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Gamalier Rodriguez | Lomachenko (3-100) | Lomachenko by fourth-round KO |
| Leo Santa Cruz vs. Jose Cayetano | Santa Cruz (1-1000) | Santa Cruz by fifth-round TKO |
Terremoto Will Dominate Terrible Fight

Leo Santa Cruz will have no problems beating little-known Jose Cayetano on Saturday night. Cayetano has never fought outside of Mexico, and he brings a modest 17-3 record into the bout with the WBC super bantamweight champion.
Santa Cruz's title will not be on the line as he prepares for a potential showdown with a former bantamweight, super bantamweight and featherweight champion, Abner Mares.
Cayetano is the third fighter set to face Santa Cruz on the card, per Dan Ambrose of Boxing News 24. With this matchmaking, it's clear Santa Cruz's people aren't interested in challenging him prior to the more lucrative bout with Mares.
This fight probably won't make it out of the fifth round as Santa Cruz batters his overmatched foe.
Vasyl Lomachenko Will Smash Gamalier Rodriguez

I could just about repeat everything I wrote in the previous section to summarize Vasyl Lomachenko's bout with Gamalier Rodriguez. Lomachenko is at least putting his WBO featherweight title on the line against Rodriguez, but this won't be a competitive scrap.
Lomachecnko isn't in any real danger of losing the strap. Rodriguez has never faced any opponent who was even near the champion's level.
While Lomachenko has only had four professional fights, his storied career as an amateur—which includes gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics—makes him a bit of an enigma. If you've seen him fight, you know he has extraordinary skill and poise that far surpasses that of most fighters with such limited professional experience, yet most don't give him the respect he probably deserves because of his unimpressive record.
Nevertheless, expect another boxing exhibition for as long as this one lasts.
