Betting Tips and Predictions
Pacquiao to Throw First Punch, Left-handed (1-1 & 10-13)

A combination of two bets could offer great value to those who think Pacquiao will come out firing. It's expected that, if Manny is to beat Mayweather, he needs to do significant damage in the opening stages.
Floyd's technical defensive style may not be in motion during the opening rounds, potentially giving Pac-Man something to exploit. Shane Mosley was the closest man to putting Mayweather on the canvas with his hammerblow in the second round of their 2010 battle. Mosley buckled his opponent's legs but couldn't get the knockdown, shown below:
Mosley believes Pacquiao should take notice of his loss to Mayweather, reported by radio station On The Ropes (h/t Sky Sports): "I almost knocked him out straight out the gate," said Mosley. "That would be a good tip for Pacquiao, he can’t give Mayweather a chance to get comfortable or to pick up on his rhythm. If he is going to win against Mayweather, it’s going to have to be in the first three or four rounds tops."
Trainer Freddie Roach also believes Floyd is susceptible to Pacquiao's southpaw stance. "That's where Floyd is most vulnerable," he said, per Jeff Powell of the MailOnline. "We're at the point where Manny could beat him with his right arm tied behind his back."
Putting the links together, the aforementioned bet makes complete sense. Unless, of course, Roach and Pacquiao want Mayweather to think he'll prioritise shots with his left?
Mayweather to be Knocked Down and Win (8-1)

You have to think Pacquiao is working harder than ever to make sure his punches are powerful right now. Mayweather so often escapes without ever having his legs tested, so Pacquiao's primary objective must be to leave the ring knowing he at least posed a daunting examination.
Even if he loses on Saturday, Pacquiao can make history by becoming the first man to knock Mayweather down. This would be a victory in itself and a sign that the unbeaten Pretty Boy's god-like shield is wearing off at the twilight of his career.
Roach believes Mayweather's movement and sturdiness could see him hit the canvas, per Sky Sports: "I don't think he moves like he used to. His legs aren't what they were—that's the first thing to go with a fighter." He explained why the Filipino will win to Bleacher Report's Stephen Nelson:
Mosley agrees a weakness is forming, but that Floyd still has the quality to prevail, reported by Sky Sports: "Looking at him work in the gym and hit the bag, it doesn't look like his legs are the same but they are good enough to evade Pacquiao."
It's undoubtedly a big call to suggest Mayweather will hit the deck. He is the kind of fighter who will eke out a decision win if he does, though. Floyd's defensive effectiveness should be considered just as powerful as Pacquiao's ability to land major shots, and even if he's caught once, there's no guarantee he'll make the same mistake twice.
Mayweather to get rocked and still grab the win will tempt many. There's big money to be won on this particular bet, which, if it comes true, would allow both men to hold their heads high after the encounter.
