Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: Floyd Taunts Manny over Money, Bob Arum and More
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has goaded Manny Pacquiao ahead of Saturday's historic fight in Las Vegas, saying the Filipino fighter would have earned more cash if he stopped working with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum.
Mayweather set up his own company after breaking away from the veteran promoter. He grabbed a dominant 60-40 of Saturday's purse and believes he will make a total of $200 million from the fight, according to Jeff Powell of the MailOnline.
Floyd suggests Pacquiao could be taking home a larger wad if he had any business sense: "If Manny had come to work with us he would have made a lot more money than his number for this fight. I don't think Manny is being looked after properly by Top Rank (Arum's company) for this fight."

Mayweather suggests that his fighting style—arguably the sharpest defence in boxing—has left him without lasting damage. Therefore, he still has the sense to make decisions which positively impact both him and his family. Pretty Boy thinks it is "remarkable" that he still has "the smart mind to take care of business" after a flawless run of 47 professional fights.
He indicates Pacquiao's more open style—which saw him brutally knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez—will see him suffer later in life, reported by Powell:
"The way I fight my body hasn't taken too much hurt or damage. But Pacquiao is reckless. He's been in a lot of wars. I like to excite the fans, too, but if I'd been reckless I'd have been washed up by now. And when you risk getting knocked out as brutally as he was there will be repercussions later in life, after your career ends
I've never been defeated. I don't know what it means or feels like to lose. But once a boxer experiences that the doubt will always be in his mind.
"

Marquez believes Mayweather will win the upcoming bout, per Audioboom:
Bleacher Report recently called on expert advice to see where the fight will be won:
While Mayweather and Pacquiao are completely opposite characters—the former is cocky, the latter understated—they both earn money for what they believe to be just causes.
As noted by Powell, Mayweather prioritises putting food on his family's table over maintaining his unbeaten record: "My daughter—right here—can't eat the zero. She can eat all she wants with the millions coming to her."
Pacquiao owns a lottery outfit for the Philippines Charity Sweepstakes Office and also the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, both of which help provide money for vital services in his home nation. He previously admitted fighting "not for me," but "for my people," per Powell.

The countdown to Saturday's fight is really gathering momentum now. Mayweather has been somewhat quiet during the buildup, but his comments aren't likely to go unheard by Pacquiao's camp. Arum is known to become easily frustrated by Mayweather's flashy antics, previously calling him "Emperor Jones" and a "megalomaniac," reported by Powell.
Mayweather was never going to miss the opportunity to provide a retort. He will be aiming to save his biggest and best answer for Saturday night, however, where he will be looking to extend his unbeaten record to an incredible 48-0.
