IPL 2015: Highest Run-Scorers, Wicket-Takers, Averages After Chennai vs. Kolkata
Chennai Super Kings moved above Rajasthan Royals to the top of the 2015 IPL standings on Tuesday as they narrowly beat Kolkata Knight Riders by two runs.
The Knight Riders were able to restrict Chennai's lethal batting unit to just 134 from their 20 overs, and looked to be favourites as they started their chase.
However, some immense fielding and controlled bowling saw Chennai to a tense victory in the end, and gave them the two points for the victory.
Read on for a look at how the individual batting and bowling statistics for the tournament were affected by Tuesday's result.

CSK Openers Set up Defendable Score
Chennai Super Kings only scored 134 from their 20 overs, but in the end, it proved to be a very defendable target on a slow pitch.
However, without openers Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith, the Super Kings would have really struggled.
They put on 42 in 28 balls from the start of their innings before the New Zealand skipper fell for 19, with three fours and a six.
Smith went for 25—eventually run out by Yusuf Pathan—leaving CSK 64-2 in the ninth over. Faf du Plessis actually top-scored for Chennai with 29, but the opening pair's partnership was vital on a difficult batting pitch, skipper MS Dhoni could only get three.
Without the opening contribution, CSK would have been really struggling. But in setting up a competitive 135 target, McCullum and Smith were very valuable.
Dwayne Bravo Tight Bowling Wins Out
Dwayne Bravo only bowled three of his allotted four overs on Tuesday, but they turned out to be incredibly valuable.
From his first two he conceded just seven runs, taking the key wicket of Pathan, and dismissing Pat Cummins and Piyush Chawla in quick succession.
Called upon to bowl the last over to the big-hitting Ryan ten Doeschate—Kolkata needed 17 from it for victory—he did not concede a run in the first three balls to effectively win the match for Chennai.
He went for a six and successive fours off the last three balls, but the damage was already done, and the Super Kings won out.
