Griffin Records NBA's 1st 20-19-7 Line in Playoffs Since 2010
Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin had 20 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists in Sunday's 114-105 Game 4 win over the San Antonio Spurs, making him the first player since LeBron James in 2010 to record a 20-19-7 stat line in a playoff game, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN.com).
Griffin did the damage in a game-high 43 minutes, making nine of his 17 field-goal attempts and only turning the ball over once. He didn't have any blocks and managed just one steal, while only two of his five free-throw attempts found the mark
Still, it was one of the most impressive performances thus far in the 2015 postseason, as Tim Duncan (twice) and Kevin Garnett (twice) are the only active players besides James and Griffin to record a 20-19-7 line in a playoff game, per Elias.
The 26-year-old power forward also managed to set a personal record, with the 19 rebounds marking a playoff career-high, per NBA.com/stats.
Griffin has been fantastic overall through the first four games of the opening-round series, averaging 22.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.3 blocks, 1.3 steals and 2.5 turnovers in a series-high 41.3 minutes per game.
While his field-goal percentage sits at a modest 46.8 percent, Griffin has more than made up for it with his contributions in other areas.
