Inside Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: TV Schedule and Preview for Episode 3
The final pre-fight episode of the Showtime documentary series Inside Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will air on Wednesday, April 29, at 10 p.m. ET. With the May 2 superfight between Floyd "Money" Mayweather and Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao less than a week away, anticipation is at an all-time high.
Even skeptics who waited for a delay or cancellation have to be caught up in the hype a bit at this point. The fight that once seemed like a fantasy fight fans would be forced to play out on a video game (with a created version of Mayweather, of course) is actually going to happen.
Based on that dynamic, the third episode of IMVP could be the most intriguing.
In case you can't see it when it airs initially. Here's a look at the TV and on-demand schedule for the third episode as well as the rest of the series:
| Episodes | Real-Time Airings | On Demand |
| 1 | April 19, Showtime (12:30 a.m. ET and Showtime Extreme 4:30 a.m.) Other times available on both channels until April 26. Check Sho.com for details | April 19-May 22 |
| 2 | April 25, 7:30 p.m. ET, Showtime | April 26-May 22 |
| 3 | April 29, 10 p.m. ET | April 30-May 22 |
| 4 | May 9, TBA (Epilogue) | April 19-May 22 |
As of Monday evening, there was no trailer released for the third episode. Thus there was no hint given about what to expect from Wednesday's show. Speaking as someone who has seen both of the previous episodes, here's what you should expect to see on Wednesday.
Mind you, the following is a product of educated speculation.
Why Mayweather Feels He Must Win This Fight

In the past, we've never heard Mayweather talk about any fight in his career impacting his legacy, but he's certainly making those types of references ahead of this bout.
During the huge media event in Los Angeles in March, per CBS Sports' Lyle Fitzsimmons, Mayweather said: "I never wanted to win a fight so bad in my life."
The third episode should accentuate that statement.
Respect For Pacquiao

In order to drive home the concept that Money knows he's not just facing another regular opponent, we may see even more shots of Pacquiao's in-ring successes.
Mayweather seemingly has tremendous respect for Pacquiao. Regardless of the mud that's been slung by promoters and overzealous cornermen, Mayweather doesn't appear to dislike Pacquiao.
This fight is about two things Mayweather cares deeply about: money and legacy. He'll get one no matter what the result is, but to have complete satisfaction, he's got to have both.
