Adrian Wilson Retires: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Adrian Wilson spent the majority of his excellent career with the Arizona Cardinals, so it was only fitting that the former star safety would sign one final contract with the team and retire as he did on Monday afternoon.
Craig Morgan of Fox Sports Arizona has the report:
"Team president Michael Bidwill announces Adrian Wilson will sign 1-day deal 14 years to day after Cardinals drafted him. Will retire Tues.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com, meanwhile, has more details from the press conference:
Kent Somers of AZCentral.com has more from Wilson:
Somers also noted that Wilson is expected to join the Cardinals' staff, though Wilson himself said he'll take some time deciding his next move, per Urban.
Wilson, 35, spent 12 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, making five Pro Bowls and The Associated Press' All-Pro first team in 2009. He finished his career with 27 interceptions and 25.5 sacks and made his mark in the league as a smart, hard-hitting safety.
Wilson signed with the New England Patriots in 2013 but spent the entire season on the injured reserve list. He then signed with the Chicago Bears before last season but was cut in training camp, and after two seasons without appearing on the field, he decided to call it quits.
