Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils managed to keep up their strong form with an eye on the Indian Premier League play-off race with wins over Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad, respectively, during Saturday's IPL action.
The Knight Riders impressed with their bowling and comfortably chased a total of 156, while Delhi needed a six from the final ball to claw their way into the top four.
Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings remain the teams to beat early, but with plenty of matches left to be played, the race for the IPL play-offs is still wide open.

Andre Russel Fires Kolkata Super Knights To Win
Kolkata's group of all-star bowlers had been very impressive during Kings XI Punjab's innings, limiting last year's finalists to 155 runs thanks to some timely wickets and an all-round solid performance. Sunil Narine, Morne Morkel and Umesh Yadav did their job, but no one could have predicted how strongly Punjab's bowlers would respond.
Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir fell well short of the expectations opening for Kolkata, running into a unleashed Sandeep Sharma, who picked up four wickets, gave up just 25 runs and would have made this list had it not been for Andre Russel's heroics.
Russell came to the crease with Yusuf Pathan struggling to get going and proceeded to smash his way to 66 runs from just 36 balls, finally being bowled on the second-to-last delivery of the match. Replacement Piyush Chawla finished things with an emphatic four.
Kolkata were far from their best on Saturday, although fans will be happy to see the bowlers are starting to find a rhythm. And if Russell can keep producing the way he has, Rajasthan and Chennai better start looking over their shoulders.
JP Duminy Does It All For Delhi Daredevils
Sometimes, a player simply can't do anything wrong. JP Duminy's stats from Saturday's win over Sunrisers Hyderabad: 54 from 41 with the bat, four wickets and just 17 runs conceded from three overs with the ball.
With the way Hyderabad knocked the ball around early in their innings, they really should have won this match. There's just no way around it. The man himself understood he had done something special, as he told ESPN Cricinfo:
"Unbelievable, what an entertaining game. To have had an impact like that on a game, it's a blessed thing. Proud of the boys about how they stuck to their gameplans. Anything over 160 was a bonus. We could have got a bit more. [On opening the bowling] They had a few left-hannders, and we wanted to try and strike up front with offspin. [The tight finish]You're never out of the game in T20, so that's what I tell the boys, Make sure you concentrate on every ball of the game. We always went for our wickets, knew that was the key [Two wins on the trot] Long may it continue, we'll enjoy tonight and play again in two days time.
"
As a team, Delhi are flawed, and they lack the depth of Rajasthan and Chennai or the pure bowling brilliance of Kolkata to play a major role in the play-offs right now. But form is everything in this game, and if the Daredevils can get some momentum out of this performance from their captain, who knows what they might be capable of.
