NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol 2015 Results: Winner, Standings and Reaction
Joey Logano scored the NASCAR Xfinity Series victory in the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. He led every lap of the race.
Racing fans probably won't witness a more complete performance all year, regardless of the series, than the one Logano put together at Bristol. He was rarely challenged and even when an occasional caution brought the field back together, he easily pulled away again.

Erik Jones started on the pole for the third consecutive race. He didn't hold that advantage for long, however, as Logano quickly took over the top spot. It was an immediate indication of exactly how strong his car was for this track.
Fox Sports NASCAR highlighted an action-packed first few laps:
Denny Hamlin remained competitive with Logano for the early stages of the race. After starting fifth, he worked his way up into second. Alas, he suffered a mechanical issue shortly before the halfway mark that forced him off the track.
Joe Gibbs Racing noted he was losing fluid from the car:
Hamlin eventually got back on the track but was 70 laps off the pace.
He wasn't the only driver to suffer some bad fortune. Regan Smith, who had racked up five consecutive top-10 finishes after a poor opener at Daytona, also had a serious issue. He headed for the garage after losing power.
The Motor Racing Network provided the potential reason:
Jay W. Pennell of Fox Sports passed along some thoughts from Smith:
While other teams battled issues, Logano remained on cruise control. Every time there was a caution, it would only take a couple laps before he started driving away from the field again. The clean air and a track where it's tough to pass worked firmly in his favor.
He was so good that Bob Pockrass of ESPN highlighted the fact there were just 10 cars on the lead lap with just under 130 laps to go:
Logano had a lead of over a second when the caution flag came out with 20 laps remaining. It provided some much-needed drama in a race where the biggest story was his dominance.
A group of cars came down pit road hoping a fresh set of tires could help them make a late charge. No such luck.
Logano simply pulled away from the field on the restart. He built the lead right back up to where it was within a matter of a few laps.
The No. 22 machine proceeded to cross the finish line first. Daniel Suarez came in second and Chris Buescher earned third place.
NASCAR Xfinity highlighted the remarkable effort from Logano:
Well, that certainly sets a high standard for Logano when he takes to the track again on Sunday for the Sprint Cup Series race. Obviously, his Xfinity car was much better than the rest of the field today, but he also showcased a good feel for the track.
The rest of the results left a tie atop the series standings. Given the overall competitiveness between the full-time Xfinity drivers, it will likely remain close all season.
