EPL Table: Latest Week 33 Results, Scores and 2015 Premier League Standings
One of the most high-profile matches left on the 2014-15 Premier League schedule is set for Saturday as Chelsea take on Manchester United. The marquee clash highlights a partial weekend of action as some clubs are busy with FA Cup assignments.
The Blues are firmly in control of the title chase as the campaign winds down. They hold a seven-point edge over Arsenal, their closest competition, with the Red Devils eight back, and also have an extra match in hand. It would take a total meltdown for them not the raise the trophy.
With that in mind, let's check out how the table currently looks along with the final scores from around the Premier League. The information will be updated through the completion of play on Sunday. It's followed by a recap of the action.

Week 33 Recap

Manchester City cruised to a 2-0 win over West Ham United, opening up a seven-point gap over Liverpool in the race for the final Champions League ticket. The Reds still have a match in hand.
James Collins gave the Citizens an early lead with an own-goal before Sergio Aguero put the match to bed before half-time. Fans at the Etihad were hoping for smooth sailing from that point onwards, but a nasty-looking injury to star midfielder David Silva left them with a sour taste in the mouth.
The Spain international took an elbow to the face and spent minutes lying flat on the pitch, with staff feeding him oxygen through a mask. He later took to Twitter to ensure the City faithful he was okay:
Tottenham Hotspur's hard-fought 3-1 win over Newcastle United means Spurs are now level on points with Liverpool, and the club from north London should be favourites to grab the final Europa League ticket over Southampton on current form.
Harry Kane was once again in top form, and his late goal means he has now scored 30 goals in the 2014-15 campaign, via Sky Sports:
Everton manager Roberto Martinez warned his players about a desperate Burnley side ahead of Saturday's match. The Clarets are fighting to avoid relegation and Phil Kirkbride of the Liverpool Echo noted praise from the Toffees' boss.
"If they play at home or away or against a top four team, they always play the same and their work-rate and their ethic is one of their biggest strengths and they bring an intensity to their play," Martinez said.
He was right. The visitors put up a strong challenge despite going a man down late in the first half. Ashley Barnes was sent off for a pair of yellow cards in a 25-minute span. They kept it close throughout but could never find an equalizer after a Kevin Mirallas tally.
That marks five straight league matches without a loss for Everton. They continue to climb toward the top half of the table after a slow start. Burnley now sit in the basement but are still just three points from safety.
The relegation race is going to go right down to the wire. Leicester City significantly helped their chances of survival with a victory over Swansea City. A first-half goal from Leonardo Ulloa was the difference as the club's sudden uptick in form continued.
OptaJoe noted it was an ideal time for Ulloa to end his scoring drought:
Leicester, who were in an extremely precarious position just a couple weeks ago, now sit right on the relegation line. Still not a preferred situation, but notable progress has been made.
West Bromwich Albion helped move themselves further away from that relegation battle with a win over a previously red-hot Crystal Palace side. James Morrison and Craig Gardner scored the goals before the Baggies hunkered down defensively over the final 30 minutes.
They now sit eight points clear of the bottom three.
The other early match was a back-and-forth encounter between Stoke City and Southampton. Morgan Schneiderlin and Mame Biram Diouf traded goals before Charlie Adam played the role of hero with an 84th-minute goal for the Potters.
Losing leaves Saints one point behind Liverpool for fifth place and direct qualification into the Europa League group stage. Stoke highlighted the uniqueness of the result:
Manchester United failed to provide the title chase with a boost of intrigue to close out Saturday's action. Chelsea received a first-half strike from Eden Hazard and then for the most part parked the bus, keeping the Red Devils at bay for the final 50 minutes.
Paul Carr of ESPN highlights the fact the title chase is all but over:
On Sunday, the action kicks off with Manchester City attempting to give themselves some breathing room in the top-four race against West Ham United.
That will be followed by Tottenham Hotspur seeking to move closer to a European spot as they face a Newcastle United side not totally safe from relegation quite yet.
