WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from April 15
The April 15 episode of NXT marked the first time Sami Zayn competed inside a squared circle since Takeover: Rival, where he lost the heavyweight championship to Kevin Owens. Determined to climb back into title contention, he squared off with grizzled veteran Rhyno in the night's main event.
As good and crisp as he has ever been, Zayn showed no signs of ring rust as he wrestled, threw strikes and dove over the top rope at his opponent before landing a Helluva Kick that scored him the pinfall victory.
It was a strong comeback performance from Zayn, who was sorely missing from this recent set of television tapings.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The night's biggest winner, he was far from the only one. Who else joined the Canadian-born star and which Superstars were the night's biggest losers?
Find out now, with this look back at Wednesday night's WWE Network broadcast.
Winner: Rhyno
When the Man Beast made his surprising return to WWE as part of the NXT brand, some questioned the logic behind bringing an aging veteran into a brand rife with young talent and putting him over the stars of tomorrow.
What they could not have anticipated was just how well Rhyno would fit in with the brand.
A respected in-ring competitor, he has lent credibility to the brand. His victories have been over no-name enhancement talent. While tearing through them, he has put over NXT as the place where every Superstar, regardless of age or experience, wants to come to make an impact in the industry.
By putting over Sami Zayn, he established himself as a veteran willing to do whatever necessary to get the next generation of stars ready to carry the industry on their shoulders, not unlike Terry Funk once did for the revolutionary ECW brand that Rhyno would eventually champion.
Kudos to Rhyno for putting ego aside and doing what was right for business and, in the process, proving that the Detroit-born star still has a great deal of gas left in the tank.
Loser: Dana Brooke
It was not the debut that Dana Brooke probably wanted as she squared off with Blue Pants on Wednesday night.
Sure, she would have liked to have received a hero's welcome, cheered onto victory by the NXT faithful. Instead, she was greeted with boos and chants of "you can't wrestle."
Adding that to the fact she shared the ring with a competitor such as Blue Pants, who is a wildly popular cult favorite much more experienced and talented than Brooke at this point, is a recipe for disaster.
To be fair, she did show flashes of a bright career, but for now, there is no way to look at the former fitness model's first in-ring performance as anything but a disappointment.
Winner: Solomon Crowe
While still not showcasing his full arsenal inside the squared circle, Solomon Crowe finally made another in-ring appearance this week, battling CJ Parker in the night's opening contest.
In what was Parker's final televised bout, Crowe proved that he could work from underneath before using the Brock Lock to force a tapout from the environmentally friendly competitor.
There are so many immensely talented Superstars on the NXT roster that it has been difficult for Crowe to earn television time. With his performance on this week's show, it appears as though he may finally be on his way to a sustained on-screen role as the company prepares for the upcoming taping cycle.
