Luis Suarez and Barcelona Must Recover Quickly for Champions League Tie vs. PSG
RAMON SANCHEZ-PIZJUAN, SEVILLE — The good thing for Luis Suarez and Barcelona is that there is little time to ruminate on what went wrong. The bad thing is that it did.
It's almost a positive, in a way, that the problems Barcelona had in Andalusia on Saturday night during their 2-2 draw with Sevilla were down to individual errors.
If there was a huge flaw with the system, with the general game of Barcelona, then it would be pretty hard to change before they take on Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

However, there were three players who "helped" Barcelona lose a two-goal lead for the first time in 87 games, per Sport.
Mistakes made for the two Sevilla goals, by Claudio Bravo and Gerard Pique were important. But so were Suarez's misses.

The Uruguayan hitman had several chances to kill the game after Ever Banega had struck to get Sevilla back in it.
Unai Emery's team, spurred on by the fans at a wonderfully noisy Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, were attacking Barcelona and it left room for the Catalans to counter.
In the first half, one such opportunity fell to Suarez, when Neymar played a cute through-ball.
On the left side of the box, Suarez lashed his shot over the bar and into the stands, from a tight angle. This was a forgivable miss. His next one was not.
Early in the second half, Andres Iniesta forced Sergio Rico into action, Sevilla's third-choice keeper parrying the Barcelona star's strike. The ball bounced back and Suarez was onto it, with the net gaping.
However, he rushed his effort and swept the ball over the bar again.
Suarez couldn't believe it, putting his hands to his head and looking away in disgust.
Barcelona fans would have felt the same; Sevilla had only let in seven goals all season in the league at home before this game, so you can't pass up opportunities like that.

Suarez had a third chance, too, lamely hacking at a volley which span off wide.
By contrast, Neymar had an excellent game. The Brazilian has been out of sorts recently but raised his level after being dropped for Barcelona's midweek win over Almeria.
He created the first, scored the second and was unfortunate to have been substituted instead of Suarez.
The performance here was akin to the Uruguayan's early showings in a Barcelona shirt and perhaps that's something to do with pressure.
With the weight of the jersey that he had longed to play in for years, Suarez struggled for a fair few games.
That eased off as he grew into the team, and his role, but now, with a potential treble in play, the pressure has returned.
We know what happens when Suarez is under a lot of pressure, and it isn't pretty.

So perhaps it's for the best that the PSG match comes so soon. A Suarez who spends all week thinking about what went wrong, might prove to be too dangerous a character for Enrique's liking.
Instead, thanks to Barcelona's tricky run of fixtures, there's the PSG game on Wednesday, followed by Valencia at home on Saturday, PSG on the Tuesday after that and Catalan derby rivals Espanyol the next Saturday.
Suarez, Bravo, Pique and Enrique will want those games to come as quickly as possible, while the atmosphere in any of them will do well to match up to the hostile Sevilla support.
That's good news for Barcelona, who still remain in with a chance of winning the treble. But if they are to do so, they'll need Suarez at his best, and not worrying about past mistakes.
