Premier League Table: Updated 2015 EPL Standings Following Matchday 32 Results
Chelsea are in firm control of the Premier League title chase heading into the stretch run of the 2014-15 campaign. All the other contending clubs can do is keep winning and hope the Blues fall into a cold spell at an inopportune time.
It's not the only race worth monitoring over the final weeks, of course. There are still European berths to get claimed and a fierce relegation battle that could go right down to the final matchday. It should make for an entertaining finish to the season.
For now, let's focus on the action from Week 32. Below are the results and an updated table, both of which will get updated through the conclusion of play on Monday. That information is followed by a recap of the matchday.

Week 32 Recap

Everton have showcased better league form since their Europa League run ended. Their modest three-match winning streak come to a close on Saturday, however. Aaron Lennon and Jonjo Shelvey scored the goals in a 1-1 draw with Swansea City.
Lennon scored late in the first half to give the Toffees the edge. Tim Howard had made a highlight-reel stop on Bafetimbi Gomis earlier in the opening 45 to keep it scoreless. He was no match for a Shelvey penalty with about 20 minutes left, though.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez wasn't happy with the penalty call on Seamus Coleman, who handled the ball in the area after being taken down:
Crystal Palace continued to flash impressive form with a 4-1 win over Sunderland. The Eagles, who defeated Manchester City their last time out, went on a five-minute scoring binge early in the second half to take control.
Yannick Bolasie was the star of the show. He netted a hat trick, including a pair of goals during that sudden burst following a scoreless opening half. Paul Carr of ESPN noted he became the first Palace player to accomplish the feat in the Premier League:
The loss keeps the Black Cats dangerously close to the relegation zone with six matches to go.
Southampton also added another tally to the win column with a 2-0 triumph over Hull City. James Ward-Prowse and Graziano Pelle scored for Saints. As a result, they move into a Europa League position, at least for the time being.
That's because Tottenham Hotspur failed to take advantage of a home match against Aston Villa. Christian Benteke continued his run of terrific form, scoring his eighth goal in the past six games. Spurs could never find an equalizer.
OptaJoe highlighted the striker's success under the guidance of Tim Sherwood:
Tottenham fall out of the top six with the defeat.
Leicester City pulled out a crucial win in their fight to stay in the Premier League with two late goals to sneak past West Bromwich Albion. Down 2-1 with about 10 minutes left, Robert Huth scored to level the match and then Jamie Vardy netted in stoppage time to earn all three points for the last-placed side.
The last of the 3 p.m. kickoffs ended in a 1-1 draw between West Ham United and Stoke City. Aaron Cresswell and Marko Arnautovic scored the goals for the sides that remain safely in the middle of the table.

As expected, a desperate Burnley side put up a strong fight at home against Arsenal in the final match on Saturday. A first-half goal by Aaron Ramsey was the difference for the Gunners, though. The win keeps them within striking distance of the top spot if Chelsea falters.
The Blues then take to the pitch to kick off the Sunday slate against Queens Park Rangers. They will look to move one step closer to another title by grabbing three points before the latest edition of the Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City.
Finally, Liverpool and Newcastle United will wrap up the week with a clash at Anfield on Monday.
