Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata, Maxi Romero Rumours
Arsenal are ready to offer £25 million for Paulo Dybala, writes Alex Harris of the Daily Star, in an attempt to beat Juventus to the signing of the Palermo striker.
Dybala has been one of the stars of the Serie A season, and he has been linked with several Premier League clubs.
Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini recently claimed, per Simon Rice of The Independent, that Arsenal are Dybala's first choice if the Argentine decides to bring his talents to England.

Zamparini said, "He would prefer to stay in Italy, he still wants to play in Serie A. Of the English clubs that have shown interest, though, Arsenal is his first choice because of the way Wenger makes his team play."
Arsene Wenger, though, has stated he has no interest in signing Dybala, per Kevin Palmer of ESPN FC, following previous reports that Arsenal had made a bid for the 21-year-old. This could well be a bluff to keep his plans under wraps.

According to David Amoyal of GianlucaDiMarzio.com for Sky Sports, Juventus will make a move for Dybala in the summer if Carlos Tevez stays at the club for another season.
Whatever happens, Nick Wright of Sky Sports is expecting no quick resolution to Dybala's future as Palermo prepare to receive a windfall when the forward is eventually sold.
Wright said, "This transfer saga could run long into the summer, but regardless of where Dybala ends up, Palermo look certain to make a handsome profit on a player who is beginning to fulfil his potential."
Another Serie A striker to have been linked with a move to Arsenal, per Jamie Sanderson of the Metro, is Juventus' Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard joined Juventus last summer from Real Madrid, but reports claimed the Italian champions were willing to let Morata go at the end of the season, with Arsenal interested.

Real, meanwhile, have an option to buy Morata back, both this summer and next year, but Cristo Martin of AS writes that the player is happy in Turin and enjoying his time playing with Juventus.
While a couple of first-team regulars may not be headed to Arsenal, the club may be on the verge of continuing their long-held policy of signing some of the game’s best young players.
Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail writes that Arsenal have dispatched chief negotiator Dick Law to Argentina to try to finalise a deal for 16-year-old forward Maxi Romero, who is on the books of Velez Sarsfield and is a fine talent judged on the below video:
Law is flying out to hold talks with Velez in an attempt to resolve an ownership issue concerning Romero, although it is claimed the teenager will spend two years on loan with his current club before he comes over to England.
Romero would be viewed as an exciting signing for the future, but getting players who can go straight into the first team must be the priority in the summer for Arsenal if they are to challenge for the title.
Dybala would fit the bill in that regard, and Wenger has shown in the past couple of years with the signings of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez that he will spend big money on the right player.
