Woods Announces Summer Tournament Schedule

Woods announced his plans for the summer on Twitter, telling fans he plans to play in the U.S. Open, the Open Championship, the Memorial, the Greenbrier and the Quicken Loans National.
On April 24, Woods announced he will take part in the Players in May.
On April 16, Bob Harig of ESPN.com spoke to Mark Steinberg, Woods' agent, who said Woods' wrist "is fine" after he injured it during the final round at the Masters.

Despite the ailment, Woods finished the tournament tied for 17th at five under after shooting a one-over Sunday. ESPN's Jason Sobel felt his play was encouraging:
Woods, who turns 40 in December, recorded his first eagle at Augusta since 2012 on the 13th hole Sunday.
He has been beset by injuries in recent years, which is part of the reason he's been stuck on 14 major victories, with his last coming at the 2008 U.S. Open.
A microdiscectomy procedure held Woods out of last year's Masters. It was the first time he was unable to tee it up at Augusta National since he began playing there as an amateur in 1995.
