NASCAR Xfinity Series at Texas 2015: Full Schedule, Standings and Preview
Two weeks off is long enough for some of the brightest young drivers in NASCAR. The Xfinity Series will finally return in Texas with a Friday race in the Lone Star State.
Chase Elliott continues to climb up the standings, but he is still 15 points away from Ty Dillon at the top. Chris Buescher, meanwhile, leads a strong contingent of four Roush-Fenway Racing drivers who are all in the top 10 in points.
Still residing at the same tracks as the Sprint Cup, the Xfinity drivers will have to compete with premier series regulars. Having the likes of Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the track, the lights will be bright for the lower series on Friday night.
Here's a look at the full schedule, standings and a preview for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300.

Preview
There's a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-type story going on with Roush-Fenway this season. At the Sprint Cup level, RFR can't seem to get out of its own way with Greg Biffle and others struggling.
Meanwhile, the Xfinity level has seen success in every car.
Ryan Reed won at Daytona. Chris Buescher is tied with Elliott for the most top-five finishes this season. Then there's Darrell Wallace Jr. and Elliott Sadler, who are both sitting in the top 10 and expected to compete for a title.
Even with all of that, Reed still wants more.
"We should have had a better finish," Reed said after finishing 11th at Auto Club Speedway, via Holly Cain of NASCAR.com. "We're improving and getting better every week. But I think we still have a lot of room to grow. I think we have a lot of work to do, but we have to look at the gains, and we all ran better here today than we did last year."
In order for RFR to continue that success, they'll have to keep up with both Elliott and Dillon.
Both drivers have been on fire lately, with Elliott having to surge back after a horrid start at Daytona. Ironically enough, he also had an unfortunate run in his first Sprint Cup race, via NASCAR:
Can he come off that disastrous run at the next level and thrive again in the Xfinity Series? Returning to the site where he clinched his first Xfinity victory, Elliott might just end up doing the same again this year with one of the fastest cars on the track.
He'll have to fight his way through adversity in the form of facing the aforementioned Sprint Cup regulars, but the No. 9 car is right back on track. On Friday night, he'll look to prove he belongs against some of the biggest names in the sport—again.
