
Marcell Dareus Reaches Plea Deal on 2014 Arrest: Latest Details, Reaction
Ten months after being arrested and charged in an alleged drag racing incident, Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus reached a plea agreement Tuesday.
According to Barbara O'Brien of The Buffalo News, Dareus pleaded guilty to two of the charges against him:

According to Matthew Fairburn of Syracuse.com, the 2014 All-Pro selection was apologetic for the negative attention his arrest generated:
The 25-year-old Dareus is among the best defensive linemen in the NFL on the heels of a 10-sack season, and he will undoubtedly be a huge part of the Bills' pursuit of a playoff berth in 2015.
With that said, it is possible the former Alabama standout could face some sort of league discipline, which means Buffalo may not have him for all 16 regular-season games.
That situation is up in the air at this point, but both Dareus and the Bills organization have to be relieved that the legal proceedings have essentially run their course.
