NCAA Championship Game 2015: TV Info, Game Time for Duke vs. Wisconsin
A year of buildup is finally over. Just one game remains in the college basketball season, and Kentucky is not involved.
Duke and Wisconsin will face off for the right to hoist the national championship trophy on Monday night. In a rematch from earlier this season, the Badgers will look to continue their revenge tour in the Final Four by knocking off another opponent that has beaten them on the big stage.
No one will ever forget about Wisconsin winning over Kentucky. However, losing in the national title game to Duke would certainly lessen the historic feel for Bo Ryan's program. That's exactly the statement Jahlil Okafor and Duke's trio of freshmen hope to make on Monday.

The Big Ten/ACC Challenge is always an event worth watching. This season, the marquee game also served as a precursor to the national championship game.
Duke won that matchup on Dec. 3, 80-70, thanks to a massive performance from its backcourt. Tyus Jones and Quinn Cook combined for 35 points and five assists, with Okafor tacking on another 13 points.
Months later, Okafor against Frank Kaminsky remains a massive matchup, as Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders notes:
For every stellar game Okafor has put together, Kaminsky has been equally as brilliant. The Wisconsin big man has averaged 18.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season but has stepped his game up in the NCAA tournament.
Even with all of the talk surrounding the emergence of Sam Dekker, Kaminsky has shined. The senior's double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds) against Kentucky was the spark plug for the Badgers, with Kaminsky leading in both categories.
ESPN Stats & Info puts his overall performance in the tournament in perspective:
Similar to the Kentucky matchup, Wisconsin will have to produce against another outstanding defense.
That's by far the biggest change for Duke since the first game. Wisconsin was able to put up 70 points against Duke in the first matchup but will face a drastically different defense on Monday night. C.L. Brown of ESPN.com offers his take on the defense and Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski's comments:
"The Blue Devils were maligned for their defensive efforts earlier in the season. They couldn't stop dribble penetration and had a difficult time defending ball screens. But all that has changed since their first meeting with Wisconsin in December. Duke currently ranks 12th in adjusted defense, according to Ken Pomeroy.
"These guys have learned at a quicker rate, though, than I would have expected from a young team," Krzyzewksi said. "We've been outstanding on the defensive end, primarily in the man-to-man, but with some modifications."
"
Duke's revamped defense will face its toughest test against Wisconsin. The Badgers carved up Kentucky over the weekend, scoring 71 points against a defense that allowed just 54.3 points per game this season.
Suffice to say, the national championship will be decided defensively. Can Wisconsin limit Duke's versatile lineup? Will the Blue Devils' improved defense hold up against the Badgers frontcourt? The answers to those questions will decide the title game as both teams look to cap off unforgettable seasons.
