WWE's Top Tweets, Instagram Photos and Viral Videos for Week of March 30
The sights and sounds of WrestleMania 31 led to no shortage of memorable, sharable WWE social media.
Instagram caught Rusev atop a tank. YouTube featured a fake WrestleMania promo from The Rock. Ronda Rousey summed up her contribution to The Show of Shows in a tweet.
As tremendous as the event was, it's no surprise that the subsequent online response to it was as well. Everyone from AJ Lee to Steve Corino got in on the act.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The WrestleMania showdown between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins ended with one of the most spectacular RKOs ever. Orton turning Rollins' Curb Stomp into his own trademark move, though, wasn't even the best RKO of the week. That is if you count superimposed ones.
Jockey Lewis Ferguson took a nasty spill off his horse and it wasn't long before it became a Vine featuring Orton on the attack:
It's easier to enjoy this knowing that, according to The Guardian, Ferguson "walked away unscathed."
YouTube star Joe Weller suffered some falls of his own. After getting 15 million-plus people to watch him perform WWE moves onto a girl in a pool, he found himself on the other end of that exchange.
Paul Heyman sent Madusa after him for a bit of revenge. As much fun as it is to see Weller get tossed around like that, the highlight of the clip is Brock Lesnar's contribution.
If you thought "suplex city" was the line of the year, Lesnar offers another one for your consideration:
(Note: Video contains brief NSFW language.)
Lesnar, despite playing the heel, received a flood of cheers at WrestleMania. On the night following the event, The New Day would have loved to have a fraction of that response. Instead the crowd sang, "New Day sucks!"
Ever the positive thinker that he is, Big E turned the message into something else entirely:
AJ must have gone to the same optimism institute. Rather than feel slighted by being in a tag match rather than one for the title at WrestleMania, she focused on future possibilities:
Just 19 more wins to go!
Before AJ extended her spotless record, WrestleMania kicked off with America the Beautiful. Singer Aloe Blacc delivered the traditional tune to open the show.
His appearance got lost in all the great matches and big moments that happened later, but Ring of Honor wrestler Corino certainly took notice of Blacc's WrestleMania debut. He lamented the fact that it was Blacc performing on that stage and not him:
If Corino watched on, he saw quite a number of examples of WWE going all out for its biggest event of the year. Perhaps nothing sums up that approach more than how Rusev arrived to the ring.
Not only did Rusev have Russian soldiers march ahead of him, but the big brute took a ride on a tank. WWE's Instagram page caught a shot of him midride:
Like Rusev, Sting ended the night on the losing side of his battle. For many fans, that didn't matter. Sting wrestled for WWE for the first time ever and did so in a stirring contest full of surprises and guest stars.
WWE shared an intriguing image of him backstage, after that match, his face paint worn off, his eyes intense:
Sting was far from the only face from the Monday Night War to show up. The Rock was in the building and he ended up recruiting Ronda Rousey for a brawl with The Authority. The UFC champ clearly had fun and luckily hinted that there were more moments like this to come:
As for The Rock, it was a whirlwind of a weekend for him, as he also hosted Saturday Night Live. One of his best sketches saw him play a role he knows well, a trash-talking wrestler.
The Rock (as Coco Watch Out) went too far when going after his opponent in a promo:
Not even Heyman hits that low below the belt.
