Roberson Set to Return vs. Spurs

Tuesday, April 7

ESPN.com's Royce Young reported Roberson will return against San Antonio. He'll come off the bench and play limited minutes.

On March 23, it was revealed the Thunder would be without Roberson for multiple games, per Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman:

Young reported that Roberson suffered a left ankle sprain and would not return against the Heat.

Roberson has averaged just 19.6 minutes per game this season, but he gives the Thunder valuable depth, length and defense on the perimeter that can't easily be replaced.

It will be up to Dion Waiters and Anthony Morrow to pick up the slack and do some of the less glamorous little things Roberson often does. Oklahoma City has been struck with numerous injuries throughout the season, yet it is still in the playoff picture.

Although point guard Russell Westbrook still boggles the mind at times with horrible shot selection and a high turnover rate, his brilliance has often overcome those faults to keep the Thunder relevant in the West.
