Liverpool Looking For Four Wins on the Spin

After a shaky spell of form at the turn of the year, Liverpool have been in outstanding form of late, brushing aside Manchester City, Sunderland and Chelsea in their last three matches.
Much of that has been down to the form of striker Jerome Sinclair, who’s been the Reds’ go-to man for goals this season.
The 18-year-old is very similar to Raheem Sterling in terms of playing style—he has electric pace, skill in abundance and an exemplary finishing touch.
That much was summed up by his performance in the victory over Chelsea on March 2, as he scored a fine individual goal to secure the 2-0 triumph, via LFC TikiTaka’s video:
Twenty-two goals in a season doesn’t go unnoticed at any age group, either, and Sinclair has taken praise from some of the biggest names in the game, including Jamie Carragher.
He’ll be the first name on Michael Beale’s team sheet for the Merseyside Derby, which the manager expects to be an “intense” affair—per Liverpool’s official website:
"There is a real buzz amongst the lads ahead of the Everton game. I think we are very lucky in this part of the world that we can have two clubs who are so close together. We all respect each other as well and there is no malice in our rivalry and both clubs have a fantastic reputation for developing youth players from the local area. I am expecting it to be another really good game with that local derby feel. It will be more intense than the Chelsea game.
"
Everton Under-21s, meanwhile, want to use Monday’s clash to get their season back on track after a few disappointing results.
A run of no wins in three in all competitions was ended with their tame 1-0 victory over struggling Sunderland on Thursday in the Premier League International Cup, but the performance was far from convincing.

Veteran defender Sylvain Distin headed home the only goal of the game on that occasion and put together a solid defensive performance, but Everton needed luck on their side to progress to the quarter-finals.
Back on the domestic scene, the Toffees will have to up their game to dispose of their talented rivals. However, Under-21 boss David Unsworth believes that on their day, Everton can pick off any side—as he told the club’s official website:
"I know that when we perform at our best we can beat anybody. I’ve seen Liverpool a couple of times this year and they are a good team with some talented players. It’s got all the makings for a great game. There will be a few people there and we are looking forward to it.
"
With the first team in action in the Europa League on Thursday, Unsworth is unlikely to get his hands on any big names for Monday’s match, which could mean that Liverpool will outclass them across the park.
And with Sinclair in such scintillating form and Beale’s men gaining momentum, Merseyside will likely be red on Monday evening.
Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Everton
