Bradley Expected to Be Available vs. Grizzlies
Wednesday, March 11
The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn reported Bradley "is expected to be available tonight, according to an NBA source."
On March 6, the Celtics reported that Bradley "had a badly sprained left elbow. He hyperextended it," per coach Brad Stevens, who also said Bradley likely wouldn't join the Celtics on the road trip.
Bradley Misses Friday's Game
Thursday, March 5
The team officially announced Thursday that Bradley “will not travel with team to New Orleans today for tomorrow night’s game. He’s out with a left elbow sprain.”
Bradley is averaging 13.9 points per game for the Celtics and has actually seen an uptick in his production since Boston traded for fellow guard Isaiah Thomas. Bradley is averaging 15.5 points per game in his last 10 contests and stretches the floor with his ability to hit the three.
Boston is still within striking distance of the No. 8 seed in the watered-down Eastern Conference, but making a late charge will be more difficult if Bradley is forced to miss extended time. The team is already without injured big man Jared Sullinger.
