Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao knows it's almost impossible to win a war of words with Floyd Mayweather Jr., so it created quite the buzz when fans believed he was opting for a more subtle approach with his trash-talking.

On Sunday, a picture appeared to show the fighter wearing a shirt with Pac-Man eating a money symbol, a clear jab at his upcoming opponent, Floyd "Money" Mayweather.

However, Boxing-Hype.com provided a comparison of an old training photo to show that the T-shirt was Photoshopped:

I knew Manny would never wear that shirt it was photoshopped by guys making these shirts smh @sham_ayub http://t.co/Wk4e2rlUiw

The World Boxing Organization first shared the image in question and asked fans what they thought of the T-shirt:

WBO @WorldBoxingOrg

What do you think about WBO Champion Manny's t-shirt? Do you like his chances against Mayweather on May 2? http://t.co/lnYUdOebBF

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is scheduled for May 2 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Manufacturing hype for the bout won't be hard, as fans have been waiting to see this fight for years.

Given that it's the last marquee boxing event for the foreseeable future, it should break just about every revenue record imaginable.
