Real Madrid Transfer News: Paul Pogba Price Named, Danilo Addresses Rumours
Real Madrid will have to stump up a staggering €100 million if they’re going to land Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer, according to the Frenchman’s agent, Mino Raiola.
Speaking to Marca (h/t Miles Chambers of Goal.com), Raiola encouraged the European champions to get in touch with him if their interest in the player is genuine and cited key members of the club’s fabric as admirers of the young Frenchman:
"If Real Madrid want him then they should call me. Madrid are a dangerous club to move to, as the pressure can hurt players' careers, but Pogba is ready.
He is very focused on his life and his career. Nothing is insurmountable for him. I know he's liked a lot by Madrid coaches Zinedine Zidane and Carlo Ancelotti, but Paul's only thinking about Juve right now.
Money's not a problem for clubs like Real Madrid. The cost of signing him would be €100 million - whoever signs him gets the star of the next generation of players.

As noted in Chambers’ piece, Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the player, who has attracted the attentions of the watching world with some mesmeric displays at the heart of the Bianconeri midfield this season.
Here’s a look at why Pogba is revered as one of the best youngsters in the game:
If he does leave Juventus this summer it’s easy to see why the Italian giants would command a potentially world-record fee. Pogba boasts a staggering array of attributes and is capable of going on to become one of the greats of the game. When you consider he’s just 21 years old too, the potential longevity the Frenchman’s new club would get is staggering.

As noted by David Amoyal of gianlucadimarzio.com, the Italian giants have no pressure to sell their prized asset either:
Reading into Raiola’s comments, it seems inevitable that Pogba will go on to join a European juggernaut eventually, and Madrid is a destination that would make sense. Not only do they always pursue the game’s brightest young talents, but in terms of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, central midfield is a facet of this side that could do with bolstering.

Another potentially weakness in what’s an awesome crop of players is at right-back and as noted by Pete Jenson of the Mail Online, Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move for Porto’s Danilo.
According to the article, Liverpool and Barcelona are also very keen on the Brazilian sensation, but the player himself has been coy on a potential move away from the Estadio Dragao:
"There are far better-looking faces than mine to be appearing all the time on the front pages of the papers but I know it’s normal that if you play well for this club then other clubs start looking at you.
"

Danilo has impressed in the Portuguese top flight with some effervescent displays up and down the right flank for Porto. He’s a full-back who is very much offensively minded, but he’s not a player who will be beaten easily in one-on-one situations. On paper, he seems perfect for Madrid.
But as noted by Spanish football expert Sergi Dominguez, there are reasons why Barcelona may also be a tempting destination for the 23-year-old:
Ancelotti must act quickly to land Danilo, you'd suspect. With the player’s contract due to expire soon and Barcelona out of the reckoning this summer, Real should do all they can to lure the player to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Doing so would help bolster an area of the squad that is a little short on depth, and with that in mind, a switch to the Spanish capital could be an ideal move for the player too. He would provide stern competition to Dani Carvajal for the right-back berth and would surely get plenty of game time given his superior attacking attributes.
