Kevin Youkilis Could Learn a Lot From Ian Kinsler
I hope Kevin Youkilis was watching his teammates tonight playing the Texas Rangers because he could learn a lot from Ian Kinsler.
Earlier in the week, Youkilis showed what you do not want to do when you get hit with a pitch. Rick Porcello had hit Youkilis in the back with a pitch. Whether the pitch was intentional or not, the way Youkilis handled himself was incredibly dumb.
After Youkilis was hit he got up threw his bat and charged after Porcello who slowly retreated towards his first basemen. As this was happening Youkilis threw his helmet at Porcello and then tried to tackle him.

Porcello sidestepped Youkilis and ended up taking Youkilis to the ground. Both players were ejected from the game and served with five game suspension.
In tonight's Red Sox vs Rangers game Ian Kinsler was hit with a 92 mile-per-hour right on the helmet. Kinsler was upset about it and said a few things about it. He was immediately surrounded by the training staff and his teammates as well as the umpire walking him to first base.
Even though Kinsler was greatly unhappy with being hit he did not go after Fernando Cabrera, the pitcher that had hit him in the helmet with the pitch.
One reason why it wouldn't have been a great idea for Kinsler to charge the mound is he just got back from injury for the game. Secondly he provides a big bat in the Rangers lineup that the Rangers need since Nelson Cruz was put on the disabled list.
Back to the point even though Kinsler had a few words for Jason Varitek and Cabrera, he did not go out and charge the mound. He deserves a lot of credit for using words instead of a violent action like Youkilis did.
