Arsenal's Jack Wilshere Surprises Young Arsenal Fan with Muscular Dystrophy
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been cast in an unfavourable light in recent times thanks to an ongoing smoking row.
But lost amid the controversy, the England man did a lovely gesture for a young fan of his.
Nine-year-old Arsenal fan Archie Hill has muscular dystrophy and recently appealed to David Cameron, the prime minister, in a bid to legalise a new drug that would treat his condition, which has been made available in some European countries. Cameron has since pushed licensing the drug forward.

The Arsenal man responded by surprising young Archie and his brother Leyton at their house, then kicking a football around with them and playing video games.

"It's been fantastic meeting Archie and Leyton," Wilshere said, according to ITV. "My mum told me about Archie's interview and I was really impressed by how grown up he was to go on television and to write to the prime minister like that—they are really great boys."
